Born in the deep rain-forests of Central Africa, was a chimpanzee named Kevin, who was unlike any other ape in the jungle. While his peers swung from vines and played in the treetops, he was fascinated by a different kind of rhythm. He was entranced by the sound of the rain, the wind in the leaves, and the chirping of birds, but most of all, he loved the beat of the jungle itself. One day, as he sat by a gurgling stream, he found an old, discarded radio. He curiously examined it, pushing buttons and twisting knobs. Suddenly, music blared from the small device. The ape's eyes widened with wonder, and a rush of excitement coursed through him. The rhythmic beats and melodies filled his heart, and he began to dance, swaying to the music with pure joy.The ape's newfound passion for music soon turned into an obsession. He spent hours each day tinkering with the radio, discovering new tunes and rhythms. His fellow chimps watched him with amusement, wondering why he was so captivated by this strange human invention. As days turned into weeks, a fascination evolved into something more profound. He began to experiment with different sounds in the jungle, mimicking the melodies he had heard on the radio. He would beat rocks on tree trunks, clap his hands, and imitate the bird's songs, creating his own unique beats. His affinity for rhythm and melody quickly became evident to his ape companions. They gathered around him as he improvised, and soon they too began to dance to his rhythms. The jungle was alive with the sounds of makeshift music, bringing joy and unity to his fellow chimpanzees.Word of this ape's music soon reached a group of local scientists who were studying primates in the rain-forest. They were amazed by the ape's musical abilities and decided to observe him closely. They left a small record player with a collection of music, and Kevin immediately recognized the device, having heard a similar sound from the old radio he found. The ape's journey into the world of DJ'ing had officially begun. With the record player, he learned to switch records, create unique mixes, and even scratch the vinyl with a twig. The scientists were astonished by the musical prodigy they had discovered.Over time, the Ape's DJ trek took him beyond the rain-forest. In 1988, he began spinning records in Colorado, captivating audiences with fun hooks and beats. And, as years would pass, his DJ path would branch as it held course with his life; thus, taking him to California, Hawaii, Germany, Spain, and China, performing at clubs, raves, and mobile gigs. His unique jungle-inspired beats made the souls of many smile. With the inevitable passage of time, the Ape's life took new turns, but all the same, he never lost touch with his roots. These days, he continues to mix music simply for fun, and to furnish his wife with new stuff to listen to. He often imagines that his poor wife lives with a semi-domesticated ape that roams the house and makes uncouth gestures--the local house ape.

DJ from Perth, Western Australia. Playing Drum & Bass / Jungle since 1999. Played out here and there over the years but mainly at mates places, parties etc First gig I went to was Fierce at the Grosvenor Backroom.. (Yes, the one where the Aircon was non existent! ) Instantly hooked!! And that sound, that vibe was like nothing I'd ever heard before. Soon after, I bought some belt drive turntables and a Realistic 2 channel mixer. Spent most weekends at my mates playing records and practicing, going to all the Record Stores in Perth and surrounds and spending most of my weekly paycheck on fresh vinyl. Now after 25 years my priorities have changed in recent times and I don't but records much these days, but my love for the sound and the vibe has never dissapeared. And never will!! Currently have a pair of Technics SL1210MK2 turntables and a cheap ass Behringer mixer for when I wanna dig out the Records. But have finally upgraded to the digital age and got a Traktor controller And after a long time I'm back on the 1s and 2s and ready to record some stuff and share my sound. Even if the mixes are a bit rough and ready. All about having fun 👊🏻

I don't know what happened, but... Two days ago, everything just stopped working. I know it's the settings in my laptop, and I'm going through the phases of trying to figure it all out. At first, I thought it was the monitors, but I connected them to a stereo system: spliced the wires and they worked. The FLX4 is lighting up, but it only plays through laptop speakers. I panic... I ordered some JBLs from Azon. For now, I'm playing off a FLX2: a Sanyo receiver and a pair of KLH Model 17's. I'm living on Reddit for advice.

I started listening to music since he was 8 years old, my first console I got it at 17 I was delighted with the years 80s, then I am passed to the techno-acid. They were good times and all vinyl. In 1994 I started to appreciate techno -hardcore, after which they are passed to the hardcore and still are today. I'm not a professional DJ. I also began to appreciate the genre hardstyle and rawstyle. However I like all kinds.
