FABIAN JAKOPETZ - DJ, producer, remixer, from Croatia, Zagreb (20 years of music experience) STYLES: Techno, Techouse, House, Minimal, Progressive BIOGRAPHY: As a child he played a guitar in various bands, but he haven't found his way in expressing by live instruments. He was influenced by his older brother who was listening to electronic music from it's start, so that's the source of his beginning. As a minor has started his music career under the name DJ Dechko and practically overnight he achieves success at the local electronic music scene. In that time he has performed on most major projects and programs in Croatia. These performances enabled him massive exposure and permanent connection with the audience where he gained his experience where he achieved a great sense for floor-feeling which he uses to satisfy dancing and smiling ravers on the dance floor. Styles that he dynamicly plays are a sort of eclectic fusion of Techno, Techouse, House, Progressive and Minimal music, although in creative moments he likes to surprise his crowd with some other stuff not linked to these genres. In parallel with DJ career, he started to do production of electronic music, but through years of musical experience, he gained confidence and courage to send his music to labels that in 2009 resulted with the first release in colaboration with Damir Pushkar for the legendary Bonzai Records. This release broke the ice of his career, which was since then in absolute growth, and results by new releases on large and world famous labels, such as: Yin Yang Records, Elektrax Recordings, Baroque Records, Bonzai Music, Decide Music Concept, Sony Music Entertainment, Funk'n Deep Records, Whartone Records, Le bien et le mal, ZYX Music, Sound of Acapulco, Hamburg Aufnahmen, Punch Underground and many more. He is one of the rare Croats who had the opportunity to remix so many greats of world electronic music, which some of them were nominated for Grammy, legends like: Tiesto, Eddie Amador, Spartaque, Oliver Moldan, Jerry Ropero, Yves Deruyter, Steve Mulder, AnGy KoRe, Daniele Petronelli, Balthazar & JackRock, Ali Wilson, Airwave, TKNO, Dataworx, Arkatec a.k.a. Numerous music releases opened the gates for him at the international level and he began to appear outside Croatian borders in countries such as: Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Slovenia, Austria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Serb... Life can change, hope you enjoy my live mixes. After experiencing the Acid House scene in the late 80's, evolving with the sounds of Jungle & the rising Rave culture into to the 90's. DJ Thes B (real name Theron Burge) found that the Techno beat was for him. Those influences never went away. In the mid 90's life took many turns with the music always in the background. With that came changes. Enjoyment for Techno never went as these changes past by over the decades. Thes B returned to music with support & encouragement of an old friend. Playing from commercial charts, Electro, House, DnB & even the odd Reggae tune at various venues & small parties. For several years he enjoyed playing for a promotion company based in Swansea: Subversion Underground Techno, with their passion for Acid Techno (in all its forms) Thes B played 1-2-3 hour sets as the warm up for the headliner, Thes B has been able to develop his own personal style of Techno. After playing many venues Thes B played Techno for 5yrs on a weekly internet radio show Theron Live on Audiobunker.net, the last show aired 1st May 2020. Now at the ‘ripe age of 49’, his enjoyment of the music and his passion for getting the Bass on the dance-floor just keeps growing stronger. In the early part of 2014 Thes B decided to run a monthly Techno Session series. This is a 1hr mix recorded live & posted on the first day of each calendar month. The full catalogue of these mixes can be found at House-mixes.com or mixcloud.com. Check out the mixes & if you would like to find out more or for bookings please contact. About 2 months agao... I was in a dead ass sleep. I had not slept for 2.5 days, I was workingnan art project with and for someone. I was asleep for about no more than an hour, when something made me open my eyes. That something told me to get up, go to the bathroom and look at your face. (WOW!! Just now eveything inmy apartment just reset itself. Lights wentout. See, THIS is what I'm talking about.)Anyway... I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Less than a minute later, a loud crash in my living room/kitchen/bedrooom... The whole right-side wall, which has a large cabinet on it, AND the ceiling, all were on the floor. You couldn't see my bed, the one I was sleeping in; dead asleep, mind you. There is no apartment above me, but the whole roof caved in; you could see the sky.4 laptops, 1 mini pc, a TV, 2 controllers, and a printer...ALL trashed. 2 sets of speakers and 2 sets of monitors were trashed also. I'm glad that I had purchased insurance. This guy who is handling my case, who came to take inventory... He told me that it isn't worth what I have to pay in premiums each month. I'm glad he thought that because now EVERYTHING has to be replaced. Everything was placed in storage, that I could save, and I was in a hotel for almost 2 months. But things aren't sounding right. My apartment has a different sound; things sound different now.
