bought my 1st set of decks in 92 ... Metro Beatz is a South Florida based DJ/Producer/Remixer/Engineer of House/Electronic, R&B & Hip Hop Music for Music Of Class Productions and MOCRadio Network. Metro Beatz also known as 'LC' orginally from Lawrence, Ma has a long history & career in music since the mid 80s starting with his first rap group 'The Fresh Express - Stop (Before You Get Started)' which was a local hit in Greensboro, NC then scored an underground rap hit in 1990 with his group 'Mind Over Matter - Invisible Enemy' Soon after, Metro Beatz would move to Atlanta in 1990 working with several upcoming R&B & Hip artist, working at records stores, spinning at clubs in Atlanta and spinning mixtapes eventually collaborating with Chris Brann from Wamdue Kids, he caught the bug for House music, relocated to South Florida spinning on Miami's number one station Hot 105, spinning celebrity parties and released his first solo House music project on Terrence Parker's 'Parker MusicWorks Label' in 2008. Currently Metro Beatz now releases fresh new House Music on his own imprint 'Music Of Class' through Symphonic Distribution. As of September 2019 producer of mixes, remixes and megamixes (called “Monsterjam” by DMC) for the British DJ only remix service DMC Ltd. UK. The banner you see above are a few of the full-album mixes I produced for DMC and were released on the DMC label. They’re all ‘Monsterjams’ as DMC calls the full-album megamixes they release.Unfortunately DMC went into a voluntary liquidation in March 2023, were taken over by a specially for that purpose founded company called Futureverse Ltd. but eventually dissolved in the beginning of this year 2025.

I've been mixing music since about 1998... These days, it's just a hobby.Once a month or so, I download a bunch of tracks and make a fresh mix out of them. I mostly play House Music. It's what moves me. As they say, "House is a feeling..." I try to smoosh good tunes with good mixes. I mostly pull it off, I believe. Any of my sets will include a bunch of House, Techno, and Trance. I try not to get too locked in on one genre because I find 60 minutes of anything to be too redundant. I try to keep it fresh, upbeat, and fun and most importantly, BANGING!!Favorite DJs: Bad Boy Bill and Richard "Humpty" Vission are the two that inspired me to want to get into DJing long ago. They will always be the best to me. Any dickhead can stand there and play records. Those two put on a show- nay, a clinic on how it's done. If they're ever in your town, go see them!
