I've been mixing music since about 1998... These days, it's just a hobby.Once a month or so, I download a bunch of tracks and make a fresh mix out of them. I mostly play House Music. It's what moves me. As they say, "House is a feeling..." I try to smoosh good tunes with good mixes. I mostly pull it off, I believe. Any of my sets will include a bunch of House, Techno, and Trance. I try not to get too locked in on one genre because I find 60 minutes of anything to be too redundant. I try to keep it fresh, upbeat, and fun and most importantly, BANGING!!Favorite DJs: Bad Boy Bill and Richard "Humpty" Vission are the two that inspired me to want to get into DJing long ago. They will always be the best to me. Any dickhead can stand there and play records. Those two put on a show- nay, a clinic on how it's done. If they're ever in your town, go see them! Ancien agitateur des soirées Cold Wave/Post Punk/EBM lyonnaises, OVNI touche à tout de la scène underground, Le Chiffre a d'abord officié au début des années 2000 à la basse dans le groupe industriel et electro dark Omnicore, influencé par les travaux primitifs de Laibach, les artistes de Cold Meat Industry et du label Ant Zen. Il partage alors la scène avec des artistes tels que A Challenge of Honor, Imminent, The Hacker ou même Death In June et Dernière Volonté. Il rejoint Tat lors de sa fondation avec Valfeu (Operation Of The Sun, Desireless, Saturne & Valfeu) en 2006, qui deviendra Tat Resurrectio en 2018, et apparaît régulièrement lors des prestations live du collectif protéiforme dark folk et néoclassique, en ouvrant pour Arcana, Sol Invictvs ou Brendan Perry (Dead Can Dance). On l'a vu régulièrement derrière les platines du Bootlegger à Lyon ou de l'Usine de Genève où il mixa en electro/techno avec The Horrorist, Ancient Methods, Headless Horseman et Codex Empire, mais aussi à la sonorisation des soirées BDSM d'Equalizer. Il reprend exceptionnellement du service, pour cette édition des soirées Zlyttia. Il officiera pendant la jam de shibari avec des sons electronica, ambient, drone et expérimentaux, en mettant le label Warp (Aphex Twin, Autechre, etc.) particulièrement à l'honneur. I'm an amateur at-home DJ still learning the ropes. I'm 69 years old and love listening to a wide range of music, mostly House, Dance, Disco, and Reggae, as well as some country. Music has been a place of inner peace and I hope you enjoy my sharing of it! Born and Raised in NYC and now in the ATL. I have been mixing since I was 14 years old. As a young fella I can remember watching DJ Starski, Grandmaster Flash, Kool Herc, DJ The Red Alert to name a few hooking their equipment to the lamp poles in the parks in the South Bronx and Harlem it was on. The MCs were hyping or moving the crowd for the Deejays. When I moved from the Bronx to Queens, I joined the Gemini Crew and I was DJ Johnny Quick on the 1 and 2 with the cross fader. My Dad owned a night club in Brooklyn, so music was everywhere. As I got older and started going to the club scene in NYC there was one DJ that was such a technician and I often called him a Scientist the Legendary DJ Larry Levan famous for the Paradise Garage. He told a story when he mixed -- depending on current events, highs and lows in the City. As a DJ we must feel the mode and pulse on the crowd and provide them with a theme...
