I've been DJing since the early 80s and have always had a passion for dance music. When Covid killed the events industry in 2020, I've been creating DJ friendly edits of songs I enjoy and songs I play at events just to help me from going crazy. I hope you enjoy them. I started making bedroom mixes in 1983 with a MAC and a double tape deck.In 1993 I was on the radio, broadcasting to Nottingham for 6 years as DJ Lazy.I started playing Nottingham clubs in 1994 and set up a night called Twist.In 2004 I teamed up with El Carlos and created Jump Shake Rattle & Roll in Birmingham.I play old skool rave and hardcore, jungle and drum n bass,techno and acid, deep and classic house, breakbeat, hip hop and electro.Full archive and tracklistings on my website purplenoiz.co.uk
