DJ MC Mello has dedicated over 35 years to his craft as a DJ, starting in the mid-1980s. His repertoire includes a diverse range of genres, from Dance and House to Rock, Disco, and Old-school, among others. He has graced venues such as "The Scratch," "Club Crescent," and "Club Ozone" in downtown Montreal. Today, he continues to entertain as a mobile DJ for "Sound Express." I started in the early 80s but before that i had it in my heart ever since I was just a kid. a kid that grew up with music and movies with my mom who was also very talented, she can draw anything with amazing detail. as a kid I wanted a record player so my mom bought me a cassette deck because she could not afford a record player. she told me she would get me music for it. then I got a break when my school friend gave me his record player, so now I had a record player and a cassette deck and I started creating pause mix tapes that sounded like I had 4 turntables. people loved my mixes. then I found a friend that was also a DJ and we become a team. we were called the turntable wizards. We became the best in San Jose in the early 80s. I use to go to car shows and perform my DJ tricks and I would also enter into DJ battles and I never lost. then I was banned from all DJ battles because they wanted me to give other DJs a chance to win. I always look for creative ways to mix music. TDC

worked as DJ ,in Manchester clubs late 70,s and 80,s ,also worked as backup/ agency DJ at the Warehouse & then best club in the world "The Hacienda" later married , went mobile (earn extra money) ,moved to entertainment agency ,worked most of the hi end hotels around Manchester and surrounding areas, to up head Dj residency at the Willows Salford ,up until it closure ,retired from the DJ scene , when wife was taken ill ,most of my DJ life was in the club scene , but northern soul was my escape, early in life I used to go to the casino , blue room, twisted wheel catacombs' torch ,mecca, plus rake of smaller venues: :Sincere apology's to any that have followed me , have not done much on here or work wise , I retired from the Club & DJ scene , when my wife found out she had cancer ,spent most of my time looking after her ,however since loosing her battle with the big C ,(July 2020)and the fact she told me to throw myself back into music once she had gone ,I am doing just that ,everything I upload from Jan 2021 is dedicated to her memory ,Thank you for the time we had together my love, gone but not forgotten. R.I.P Elsa my one and only Love, . . .
