DJ JD has spent the past two decades building an impressive resume by immersing himself in the club and private event sectors. He developed his love of DJ’ing through the versatile musical influences whilst growing up. He couldn't wait to get behind the decks and put into practice what he had learned. Starting his career as a DJ rocking the house parties back in Johannesburg - South Africa, he explored various styles and genres with a focus on dance, hip hop and RnB. JD began creating his own fusion of house and party vibes for clubs and private venues whilst executing demands of the dance floors. From weddings to clubs and cocktail bars to private events JD ignites his passion for music and sounds from the far reaches of the globe. His adolescent years were spent challenging the resident DJs of well established night clubs to DJ battles where he gained a wealth of experience and knowledge of reading the crowds. With an extensive music collection ranging from golden oldies to the latest pop and charts and with subscriptions to record labels JD is able to keep his music repertoire fresh and current. JD believes the most important thing when playing is that his sets must be fun, getting a crowd going by playing popular songs fused with versions people necessarily haven’t heard before, capturing the imagination of the dance floor. DJ MC Mello has dedicated over 35 years to his craft as a DJ, starting in the mid-1980s. Born & raised in London, I grew up surrounded by lots of cultures which groomed me to hear & love many musical genres. In my teens an amazing man whom I looked up to (R.I.P. Clement) gave me a pair of Gemini belt drive turntables & told me to practise & make it a way of releasing my pent up energy... Since then I have played at all sorts of events from Universities to bars & clubs to special events & parties! My musical influences come from a wide, varied range of input both as a child growing up in a house of HiLife, Motown, Soul & Funk music mixed with my own tastes in Hiphop, Indie, Garage, RnB etc. My life changed when I heard The Notorious B.I.G’s 1997 Album, Life After Death. My name is DJ Zoli, and music has been part of my life since childhood. For nearly 15 years, my life was deeply connected to discos and the club scene. I started my DJ career in 1993, fully dedicating myself to mixing and creating music for clubs and events. My energetic style quickly made me a familiar face, and I built a strong connection with the crowd wherever I played. Over the years, I had the chance to travel and perform on different stages, gaining not only musical experience but also personal growth. Feeling the energy of the people and turning it into music became my signature. In 2008, I decided it was time for a change and stepped away from active DJing. Even today, I don’t play at big events anymore, but my passion for music and mixing is still alive.I’m still part of the music community, and I’m proud of everything I’ve achieved. He has a very large of House, Deep House, Commercial House, R&B Remixes archive. worked as DJ ,in Manchester clubs late 70,s and 80,s ,also worked as backup/ agency DJ at the Warehouse & then best club in the world "The Hacienda" later married , went mobile (earn extra money) ,moved to entertainment agency ,worked most of the hi end hotels around Manchester and surrounding areas, to up head Dj residency at the Willows Salford ,up until it closure ,retired from the DJ scene , when wife was taken ill ,most of my DJ life was in the club scene , but northern soul was my escape, early in life I used to go to the casino , blue room, twisted wheel catacombs' torch ,mecca, plus rake of smaller venues: :Sincere apology's to any that have followed me , have not done much on here or work wise , I retired from the Club & DJ scene , when my wife found out she had cancer ,spent most of my time looking after her ,however since loosing her battle with the big C ,(July 2020)and the fact she told me to throw myself back into music once she had gone ,I am doing just that ,everything I upload from Jan 2021 is dedicated to her memory ,Thank you for the time we had together my love, gone but not forgotten. R.I.P Elsa my one and only Love, . . . And as always NO stupid intros ,talk overs, clip like :your listening to ??, a mix by DJ (Whatever the Name)or anything else all you hear on my mixes , is the music from start to finish Please note i don't push my mixes on here , its all done by ear if you like the mix tell your mates to listen or d/load thanks any northern soul fans drop me a message let me know where you are I'm based in Stockport, ps if your wondering why no track lists , well because some djs on here took my mixes as there own , naughty naughty , so if the few are going to do that the few are going to have to do some work sorting out what the tracks are ,no doubt other have had the same problem ,and as a result fill there mixes with intros etc , not me ,you get wall to wall music
