I was there at the beginning. I first came across House music in 1987. I went to the Acid House raves of 1988/89. I went thru the clubbing explosion of the 1990s and to the festivals. I worked in the clubs and raves mainly with decor and videos.Later when the digital revolution started I started DJing just for friends and parties and some bars and clubs . But nothing too big. I have been djing for many years . I have also produced Mixed albums and digital EPs.Deep House Tech House and Minimal / Techno , Deep Tech genres are what I like to play the most. I also like Deep Soulful House Tunes , Downtempo Ambient music but all started with House music.I hope my mixes inspire you. DJ MC Mello has dedicated over 35 years to his craft as a DJ, starting in the mid-1980s. His repertoire includes a diverse range of genres, from Dance and House to Rock, Disco, and Old-school, among others. He has graced venues such as "The Scratch," "Club Crescent," and "Club Ozone" in downtown Montreal. Today, he continues to entertain as a mobile DJ for "Sound Express." House is this strange cooking of different flavours, able to make Loleatta Holloway sing on strings loop from Tchaïkovski's Concerto N°1, backed by the "Let no man put asunder" bassline from First Choice and the "Let's all chant" disco beat from Michael Zager Band. And it works. Bon appétit ! Back to 88, when I've discovered House music, with the first british House tracks (Beatmasters, S-Express...) made with sampling technique, followed by the brillant 90's Garage productions by the late Godfather Frankie Knuckles. A golden era. All those pionneers have built my inspiration. That's the reason why my tracks mix Garage harmonies with sampling collage coming from my collection of oldies and classic records (disco, funk, soul, classical music, etc.)

La intención es publicar en este canal diferentes sesiones inspiradas en las músicas que durante tantos años bailé y mostré como dj.Todo comenzó en 1995 en el legendario Sketch Club en el que fui residente durante tres años. Como Dj Dab Maia, durante mas de veinte años he estado pinchando en diferentes locales y festivales de Canarias, sobre todo en la isla de Tenerife, y en la ciudad de La Laguna, donde vivo. Otras residencias que duraron unos años fueron la del Txola de La Laguna y Club Musa de Santa Cruz. Participé en varias ocasiones en festivales dedicados a la difusión de músicas del mundo como Diversity, Tensamba, Mumes y Tránsitos. También he hecho radio, y del 2012 al 2017 fundé y dirigí el sello Kalma Records, apoyando y distribuyendo la música de más de ciento cincuenta músicos y productores tanto de las Islas Canarias, como nacionales e internacionales.
