He has not much in the bio except for the love of music. He is Cape Town born and bred in the disco era. A love of music has made it possible for him to grow into crossing the genre boudary. Although his love remains in the disco and soul genres, he expanded into many sub genres which now includes tech house, latin and afro house and even so much as melodic house and techno at times. Residing in the Netherlands for the past 14 years and fully adapted to a different culture and lifestyle and music genres. If anything can unite people it is MUSIC!As a matter fact anything with a beat is good for him. I'm an amateur at-home DJ still learning the ropes. I'm 67 years old and love listening to a wide range of music, mostly House, Dance, Disco, and Reggae, as well as some country. It's not about me or any amazing DJ tricks that I could do - it's about the MUSIC. I am Seanskee, a DJ since 1979. I am an experienced nightclub, event, festival and mix-show DJ. I have played to crowds from the hundreds, to thousands, to tens(hundreds?)-of-thousands in clubs, theaters, events and on TV. My work has taken me from Chicago, to Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco, among many other cities in the U.S. In Chicago during the rise of House Music in the 1980s and early 1990s -I was Director of Audiotalent/Chicago Music Pool, and wrote / edited / published Street Mix Magazine. As an influential taste-maker, I was featured in clubs like Domaine, Le Passage, Red Dragon, Shelter, China Club, Esoteria, NRG, Baja Beach Club, Tijuana Yacht Club, Sabrina, Eddie Rockets, S.O.P., and many others around all of the Chicagoland area. I have opened for Deee-Lite, and performed on live TV for New Year's Eve celebration on CBS Chicago broadcast from China Club, among other notable events. I was in the music business for 20+ years working for record labels and management companies, working artists' projects from LaTour, Jamie Principle, Cookie Watkins, Steve "Silk" Hurley, M-Doc; and others like Rage Against the Machine, Korn, Funkdoobiest, Volume 10, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Machines of Loving Grace, The Crow Soundtrack and more. I moved into radio as an on-air personality which led to being a music director, program director and operations manager for Top-40, Rhythmic and Alternative/Modern Rock stations in several states in the USA. I produced and hosted a mix-show for 8 years in Northern California on public radio station KRCB-FM, featuring some of the best DJs from around the world. I am also a remixer, editor and producer with new works coming. Currently I reside on the Florida Suncoast, working on and posting new mix sets online and streaming projects.
