At the time I was lucky enough to pick up Don fm and Green apple on the dial. Started playing out at squat parties in 97 and played at Frenchtek 99 in front of 1000s. Was blessed with my first child in 99 so gave up the parties. Still to this day I'm a avid record collector & more than happy being a bedroom dj. 2019 I was encouraged to start playing again and was Luckily given a chance on RaveRadio. Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham).This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.

In the early nineties, I've played professionally in Bratislava, at the time when the country begun it's transition to new and better times. Early on, I have tried to find my own style and take the extra effort to play stuff that nobody played, especially on the radio. We used to buy DMC previews from London, but more often than not we were on the road to Munich, and Vienna to buy stuff that was not on the charts. House music back then was simple. In 92, I've found my way to the US as a student and begun in Brooklyn with nothing but bag of clothes and about a grand in my pocket. It was an awesome time, the music scene in NYC was great, Funk Master, Junior Vasquez, Chris the Greek, Hot 97. I've spent a decade studying and working in the city, and eventually landed in Charlotte, NC. Once you were a DJ, you will never look at it the same way, you will always seek that new sound and inspiration. This platform allows me to experience that feeling once more!
