baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. Rider Jay started DJing on a pirate radio station back in the 90s. Influenced by DJs such as Sasha, Tony Walker, Steve Luigi, Carl Cox and Frankie Knuckles to name but a few. He was drawn to the fast paced and exhilarating tracks of the time, piano tunes, Italian and vocal house. Playing at venues across Yorkshire, such as the infamous Bibbys of Bradford, Platinum Club, the Core and along side DJs such as Steve Luigi, Dream Frequency, Paul Taylor and more. Bringing a funky house, disco house and even Hip Hop style to his sets Rider Jay has a recognisable DJ style and is still known to drop back to the old piano classics that started his love affair with house music all those years ago. Always dabbling with music and producing tracks in his self named genre ‘Deep Disco’, Rider Jay has formed a DJ duo with long time friend and booth buddy Mister B. Traktor Z2 and 2 x Technics SL 1210's I taught myself to mix on some ancient belt drives back in 1990, played at lots of house parties, in bedrooms, clubs, and raves back in Brisbane. I work fulltime and music is my creative outlet, passion and hobby. I listen to my mixes in the car to and from work most days. I love and can mix most music styles. My favourites include Breakbeat, funky house, deep house, liquid drum and bass, hip hop, breaks, dub, chill out and many classic artists... etc. I have recently converted to the pleasures of digital possibilities with Traktor while still being able to play my vinyl collection. As a performing DJ, Clipper has been described in many ways. But being creative, innovative & cutting edge are the 3 of the most common words used to describe Clipper’s style. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his heritage’s love for reggae music and Dub, all which became infused with his love for House music,Clipper ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into his sets where he has picked apart and blended together all the pieces of these styles of music that he loves best: beautiful synth and bass work, ethereal backdrops, brooding bass lines and occasional vocal hooks which all feature on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling House beats. With over a decades worth of experience under his belt, he remains an open minded person with more than a great sense of direction and a continuous desire to learn new methods. He strives to reflect perfection in his work and has dedicated more than 100% of his time attaining his goals. His initial ambitions has taken him a very long way in the industry and his passion and love for it all keeps on growing.
