Buying 2 Technics turntables He took mixing techniques. It was difficult at first because there was no suitably technical infrastructure that exists today. There was also the vinyl they purchase many MAXI singles. Began working in various cafes and derive experience. As the years passed I listened, I began to grow. Basically the music always choices were mainstream music. Now the music choices are Tech House .. Latin House ... Tribal House ... Deep House ... and generally it has to do with House Music. His passion for music started at his early age when he was around12 and got his first vinyl single. Then, he managed to complete his equipment with 2 mixer tables and 1 mixer panel, and after some time of trying out, he started to record his first mixtapes. Some years later, in collaboration with other DJ´s, he did some productions for pirate radio stations in the region. And after that, in the 90´s he was working as DJ for different local and regional radio stations. Later on, in the Early 2000´s he has started his own radio station called Radio Candela, which has been the platform to produce his two most significant programs The Latin top 30 and La Fiesta, which are being currently broadcasted in more than thirty radio stations.

After exploring different directions of electronic music from Detroit and German techno and tech-house to psy trance, hardcore and industrial, I started mixing jungle and drum’n’bass in early 2000s. Having performed in various clubs in Eastern Europe, I moved to Berlin, Germany and then continued expanding my music horizons living in India, the Netherlands and Romania. With time, my selection has expanded to a vast collection of music styles and genres, including various forms of techno and industrial, hip-hop, jungle/drum’n’bass and breakcore, big beat and breakbeat, reggae/dancehall/dub, as well as death, black and nu-metal. I currently live in Washington DC and continue mixing various directions of electronic music, in addition to working on my own material.

Between the sheets of a 2/4 merengue rhythm and wide-range of a 4/4 tech house beat, Canadian/Colombian Producer, DJ, and Radio Show Host Juan Jaramillo aka GMoney has bridged his career with a multi-faceted passion for music. Early days as a radio personality within the Latino community led to acclaimed status as his reverberations became well received across North America via airwaves. I began my DJ career at age 16 with one of my dad's belt drive turntables, a friend's belt drive turntable and a $90 Gemini mixer. I later got a set of 1210s and a a real mixer and went for it! In college my friend DJ Atom and I began the Ill Communications production company and started throwing raves in Santa Cruz and The SF Bay Area. I spent 5 years as the DJ for the seminal San Francisco Metal/Hip Hop band Zeromind. Playing with a live band gave me a respect for pitch and phrasing that most DJs don't have a need for. I was regularly "playing" along with the band in key with guitar samples and sound effects. Soloing on stage to hundreds of people as part of a rock band is something I will probably never replicate. Since then I have moved into the digital era and began working with software like Traktor and Ableton. I have a love for music that will never die, even though I have not been able to pursue it as my career I still regularly find myself spinning and producing tracks. If you love it, you just have to do it!
