It's not about me or any amazing DJ tricks that I could do - it's about the MUSIC.I am Seanskee, a DJ since 1979. I am an experienced nightclub, event, festival and mix-show DJ. I have played to crowds from the hundreds, to thousands, to tens(hundreds?)-of-thousands in clubs, theaters, events and on TV. My work has taken me from Chicago, to Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco, among many other cities in the U.S.In Chicago during the rise of House Music in the 1980s and early 1990s - I was Director of Audiotalent/Chicago Music Pool, and wrote / edited / published Street Mix Magazine. As an influential taste-maker, I was featured in clubs like Domaine, Le Passage, Red Dragon, Shelter, China Club, Esoteria, NRG, Baja Beach Club, Tijuana Yacht Club, Sabrina, Eddie Rockets, S.O.P., and many others around all of the Chicagoland area. I have opened for Deee-Lite, and performed on live TV for New Year's Eve celebration on CBS Chicago broadcast from China Club, among other notable events.I was in the music business for 20+ years working for record labels and management companies, working artists' projects from LaTour, Jamie Principle, Cookie Watkins, Steve "Silk" Hurley, M-Doc; and others like Rage Against the Machine, Korn, Funkdoobiest, Volume 10, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Machines of Loving Grace, The Crow Soundtrack and more.I moved into radio as an on-air personality which led to being a music director, program director and operations manager for Top-40, Rhythmic and Alternative/Modern Rock stations in several states in the USA. I produced and hosted a mix-show for 8 years in Northern California on public radio station KRCB-FM, featuring some of the best DJs from around the world. I am also a remixer, editor and producer with new works coming.Currently I reside on the Florida Suncoast, working on and posting new mix sets online and streaming projects. Jules David is one third of the Australian based dance music label and party collective named Motion:Theory:Music. Originally the brainchild of Ben Abrahams, He, Katharine & Jules have always shared a similar musical vision. Focusing on a certain grain of abstract & groove based underground house and techno, it also aspires towards elements of breakbeat, swing and garage time signatures. Deep fractal grooving, Detroit and Chicago alleys echo to the sound of drum machine dust mites, sprinkled with a dose of Rolandesque and Moog-y acidic delight. At the end of the party and the day, its all about getting people to have a fun and enjoyable experience on the dancefloor, executed without ego or pre conveived notions. Upcoming releases on Motion:Theory:Music include, but are not limited to, many more of Jules David's original productions, with remixes from artists such as Terry Francis, Jay Tripwire & Herck.
