I was there at the beginning. I first came across House music in 1987. I went to the Acid House raves of 1988/89. I went thru the clubbing explosion of the 1990s and to the festivals. I worked in the clubs and raves mainly with decor and videos.Later when the digital revolution started I started DJing just for friends and parties and some bars and clubs . But nothing too big. I have been djing for many years . I have also produced Mixed albums and digital EPs.Deep House Tech House and Minimal / Techno , Deep Tech genres are what I like to play the most. I also like Deep Soulful House Tunes , Downtempo Ambient music but all started with House music.I hope my mixes inspire you. baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! Behind the Open Source project is Angelos Mavros from Athens, Greece. Angelos began making music under the alias OutSid3r in 1999 and has been constantly improving his outputs since then. In 2004, he started releasing music under the name "Open Source", as he switched from trackers to a professional DAW. All of his productions include prominent melodies and deep ambience that reflect the producer's melancholic psyche. In 2005, Angelos founded Ghost Label records, a label dedicated to electronic music that has released the majority of his tracks. Open Source embraced the overwhelming popularity of electronic music and infused the EDM scene with his unique, soulful sound. His outstanding live performances, in combination with his versatile musical style, have earned him a worldwide audience across multiple global venues.
