Adam Dixon aka Kardynal Syn has been slinging house music party tunes for 16 years. Finding the love for house music back in early 2005 after going to a few local clubs for some shows as well as some underground after hours parties it was clear at that point that he wanted to be a house music DJ. After a couple years of honing his skills behind the decks in his home town of Saint John, he made the jump to playing club shows and opening for international DJ/producers such as WoNK, Jon-E Industry, Robb G and Felguk. Securing himself as a local favourite in the surrounding areas of the Maritimes and playing at venues such as BOOM! and Fusion Nightlife in Fredericton. Evolution, Pump Nightclub, Peppers Pub, The Brickhouse, Rain After hours in Saint John as well as Reflections, Menz & Mollyz and The Company House in Halifax it is always a treat to hear Kardynal Syn pump the party tunes. Having been part of some legendary Maritime music festivals such as Evolve Music Festival, Future Forest Music Festival and the hidden summer classic: Pocologan Camp Party he was also selected in 2015 & 2016 out of a 200 plus DJ pool of entries to play at the Holy Ship! pre-party and after-party at Space Night Club in Miami, Florida. Recently adding another huge highlight to his DJ career was opening for UK Jackin' Bassline house music legend, Ill PHIL at Future Forest 2017. Whether it's in a club or pumping tunes for the masses at a summer festival, Kardynal Syn always brings a unique style and experience to the dance floor.

Started djing in the winter of 2014 shortly after my daughter was born , Teaching myself the basic through youtube videos and getting some advice from some of my dj friends i have managed to great something different from the rest . I play a wide variety of genres and dont usually stick to just one genre in the night , Started mixing electro /electro house then moving into complextro and dutch house , start of 2016 i moved into nu skool / electro breaks for most of the year and settling the rest of the year playing minimal ,techno, Brazilian bass , dark minimal , prog , bass house ,deep house ,hi tech minimal and g house

DJ playing out of Saint John NB . Been in this scene for about 8years now. I will be releasing a series of recorded sets that will include many current tracks and older tracks that I have grown to love and hope you will too. I have had a chance to play in several clubs throughout Saint John andsome outdoor festivals. I will be recording and posting sets of current tracks that I am using and enjoying. I will also be recording a fewsets that with be comprised of music that first got me into this scene and tracks that I have been sitting on for a few years , these sets will be named "Heroic Adventures of the Past" . Electro Breaks / Hip-Hop / Deep House / Techno Club MixesBiographyI originally come from the North East of England (Durham), but moved down to Plymouth in 2006. During the early 90's I got into the Northern rave scene and stayed there for a good five years (1991-96). During this period a number of my close friends ended up becoming relatively successful Rave DJs. Being surrounded by this obviously had an effect on me and I ended up getting involved. We ended up starting off our own rave club. Club Hysteria (Spennymoor). I’ve been mixing on and off ever since. Currently I am using Traktor Pro 2 with Traktor Kontrol S4. All of my music is MP3 based. I no longer use vinyl or CDJs as their bulk is a pain in the ass to lug around. With having two kids and a wife rules out having a studio room anyway. The S4 is perfect for my needs. I am currently heavily into Breaks / Electro House / Deep House. I still have fun with oldSkool sets from time to time.
