“Back to Back Sessions” is a project created by DJ Fabricio Lopes and DJ Kokinho where each set continues exactly from where the previous one ended. The idea is to transform mixing into an ongoing musical conversation: every week, one of the DJs takes over the next chapter within the same style, keeping the vibe, the energy, and the sonic identity flowing seamlessly. Underground, house, flashback, soulful, classics, and grooves that cross generations in connected sessions made for those who love to feel the evolution of the dancefloor. My introduction to deep house and all things free party couldn't have been better - 1994 and Smokescreen Sound system. As soon as I heard that first mix tape and knew I'd found what I'd been looking for musically at last! After going to club nights, parties and shindigs in secret locations for about 8 years I knew although I loved getting on down to that deep groove, that I wanted to participate by laying down the wax. So then in 2001/2 I embarked on an adventure with dual CD decks at first for a year - what an apprenticeship that was! Citronix decks with just 2 buttons per deck for cueing backwards and forwards - no jog wheel! What a nightmare! However, after actually getting that to work after a year, when I then bought my first pair of Technics 1200 Mk 2's, mixing was so much easier and came naturally after all the messing about pressing cue buttons! Next I had to find someone to let me play. That's where my dear friend Carl Kaotic and Wireless Soundsystem entered! in 1990 after a travel i discover the techno musici bought his first K7 like :The Orb/razor edge 'import compilation'/808 state/LFO/Praga Khan/Two little boy/megabas/sl2/ & Many more acid beat,break,trance .....it was a ravelation* for me and goes to big Party in Clubs like Le Rex -Le Palace – KitKat Privilege -le Néo-le Gibus-Rave party. etc….In 1992 i started to mix with too k7 player and mixer for friend’s parties and started to be fan of the label Harthouse/Noom/EyeQ/Tip/DragonFLy/flying rhino/Platipus*Rising High*/(Fairway-Automate-Javelin)/Omnisonus/return to the source (acid trance-trancecore…)etcetc....till this year he passed by different styles like:Techno,Techno-Ambient,Ambient* Hardcore,Tech, Trance ,Goa,Progressive house & melodic Techno...a big Thank to Guillaume la tortue , Jean Marie Koné , Olivier Planeix pour leurs superbes compilations et mix , scan X , Dj Sonic,L'exorciste aka chaotik ramses , Radio Mentale & FG*+Nova , Mazen "Techno Import" , Speedy J , Liza N'eliaz , Laurent Ho , The Orb , Fluke , underworld , Prodigy......& many many more for your neurophonic trip sharing.I do not claim in any case to be a pro dj or equivalent, I do this out of pure passion for the electro sound.I try to share and make you feel the emotion and the force that escapes from these styles of music that made me what I am.I focus on doing it the same way as some mixer compilations in the 90s.Big Big Thank too all composer & Dj for all your work !!!!!love youPeace.
