Behind the Open Source project is Angelos Mavros from Athens, Greece. Angelos began making music under the alias OutSid3r in 1999 and has been constantly improving his outputs since then. In 2004, he started releasing music under the name "Open Source", as he switched from trackers to a professional DAW. All of his productions include prominent melodies and deep ambience that reflect the producer's melancholic psyche. In 2005, Angelos founded Ghost Label records, a label dedicated to electronic music that has released the majority of his tracks. Open Source embraced the overwhelming popularity of electronic music and infused the EDM scene with his unique, soulful sound. All music audio files used on my mixes are full lossless WAV’s and all the mixes are encoded to 320kbps MP3 at a sample rate of 44.1 kHz for best sound quality possible. In 1994 I started to appreciate techno -hardcore, after which they are passed to the hardcore and still are today. I'm not a professional DJ.
