I have been on a pirate station called peoples choice radio station 25 years ago that's where I picked up my DJ name from but had to change it a bit because of main bad boy DJ Richie Rich. I grew up in a musical family and from the age of fifteen I started attending at dance parties in night clubs. A couple of years later, like many ravers at that time, I had a dream to play vinyl and become a DJ. Favorite genres in those years for me were Progressive House, Drum'n'Bass and Breaks and continue to be my favorite genres at the moment. In night clubs and on parties I started to play as a DJ in 1998. Until 2011, my favorite format was vinyl only. After that year I switched to digital formats AIFF and WAV because I pay special attention to the sound quality of tracks. I’m also a scuba diving instructor and a freestyle photographer.

DJ-Denise
DJ-Denise

DJ Denise is no stranger to electronic music. From her meteoric rise in the San Francisco underground scene in the late-1990s under the guise DJ D, to now in her 19th year of DJing, Denise has played thousands of events and at most venues in San Francisco, California. She has travelled from Miami to Hawaii and everywhere in between, spreading her unique energy and style. Her nonchalant fader flicks and mixer tricks combined with seemingly effortless beatmatching skills are intriguing to many trainspotting fans. Denise also runs Mizumo Music, a quality label for house music. This Bay Area label boasts over 160 releases from local and international artists alike. Her music productions have been licensed by well-respected artists and labels including Ministry of Sound, DJ Shortee, Simply Jeff and Epiphyte Record’s “LovEvolution,” the official 2009 CD for San Francisco’s street festival modeled after Germany’s infamous Love Parade. In 2013, Denise was hand-picked by Insomniac's Discovery Project to perform at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, one of the largest festivals in the U.S. Despite her lengthy curriculum vitae, her favorite annual gig remains in the heart of San Francisco during Pride, where both old and new friends unite for an afternoon of dancing under the sun. When she's not DJing, you can find Denise working at an Emergency Department in Oakland, CA. It is evident that her mission in life is to save lives, both on and off the dance floor. facebook.com/djdenise

Getting involved in DJ’ing when he was 18, Danny or Demon D as he was known then, knew entertaining crowds was his calling.  Growing up in Birmingham on a healthy diet of 90’s Hip Hop, POP, Breaks, R&B, Jungle, House & Garage, Danny developed an eclectic taste for music.  With early influences ranging from Wu Tang Clan & ONYX to DJ Spoony and the Dream Team, Danny felt blessed to be part of a great age of music and even more privileged to be there at the birth of House and Garage as we know it.  With the rapid emergence of H&G in London, Birmingham was playing ‘catch up’, with bars and clubs still heavily focussed towards more mainstream Dance music.  Danny saw this as an opportunity and with a group of friends formed the group ‘The Graveyard Shift’, a group of talented DJ’s and MC’s determined to spread their infectious sound. After playing numerous private parties Danny got his break in 2000 playing a 2 hr H&G set at the iconic Custard Factory for a Millennium party.  This was the springboard that would take him into a world of music and entertainment.  He then went on to play a further 4 nights at the equally iconic Institute developing his unique bouncy, bumping sound further. In early 2000 he knew that in order to take his DJ career to the next level, he had to move to the DJ heartland, London.  Pursuing his dream was difficult in London as any Londoner knows, and there was a period where ‘life’ had to take priority.  But Danny still managed to slowly build his profile, playing pubs, bars and small nightclubs.  In 2005 Danny began working with a collective of Rappers/MC’s just emerging onto the London scene called the ‘WolfPack’ and was privileged to soon be considered their exclusive DJ.  It was at this point he began to see that his skills also extended to production.  With a solid IT background and a love of music, he soon also became 1 of the 2 exclusive producers on all WolfPack material.  Managing to bridge a gap between House, Hip Hop & R&B, WolfPack truly could entertain the masses and did so with some amazing partnerships with promoters of clubs such as Planet Hollywood, Funky Budha, Sound, Mayfair & Sugar Hut.Fast forward to 2012, Danny has now broadened his music offering combining elements of Electro & Vocal/Commercial House with refreshing Hip Hop and R&B nuances to create his unique sound that gets crowds rocking.  Now taking influences and inspiration form talented Artists and DJ’s like Annie Mac, Swedish House Mafia, Wideboys & Calvin Harris.  Danny is really moving his career forward now with a residence at Club Euphoriom and as well as DJ’ing is also hosting many parties in and around top London venues.  His most recent gigs include Garage, Thomas A Becket, Russian Bar, Club 108, Match Bar & Arch 635 with many more bookings scheduled to finish off a very active year.  For bookings and enquiries contact:E-mail:  djdannyd@live.co.uk
