Born as part of the Generation X era, Jeffrey – better known as Alides – grew up in the golden age of house music. Long nights in smoky clubs, hypnotic beats, and that magnetic energy on the dance floor shaped his musical DNA. While others were dancing, he was usually standing close to the DJ booth, watching closely, listening carefully, trying to understand the magic happening behind the decks.Eventually curiosity turned into passion. Jeffrey bought his first DJ setup and started mixing himself, guided not by digital tools or algorithms, but by pure instinct. In those days it was all about feeling the music, selecting the right track at the right moment, and building a journey that could move a crowd.His style developed around that feeling: deep, emotional house that allows people to lose themselves on the dance floor — that moment where the music takes over and it feels like you’re dancing alone in your own world.Over time, Jeffrey had the opportunity to play in several clubs, sharing his sound and energy with different crowds. Playing around with music for the last 40 years with Reggae as the base. Later also interested in all kind of different styles from the House music. Sometimes DJ-ing on the beaches here in Spain and on private parties. It's fun to see lots of people dancing on my mixes. 🙂 Jugando con la música durante los últimos 40 años con el Reggae como base. Más tarde también interesado en todo tipo de estilos diferentes de la música House. A veces hago de DJ en las playas de España y en fiestas privadas. Es divertido ver a mucha gente bailando con mis mezclas. 🙂

Hey fellow ravers I'm a self confessed raver with a needy appetite for anything funky, fidgety or just plane hard.. Been involved with techno since 1994 when i first started attending underground raves in jhb.. The industry has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm sure that back then it wasn't expected to last this long. I'm always glad to see just how many successfull dj's there are here on house mixes and value all the effort that goes into producing these masterpieces !!!! Attempted mixing myself back in 96 - 97 but fate and lack of money and a "small stretch" in prison put an end to that. I'm just glad that there are more talented and excellent dj's popping up out there. Until I'm too old to walk I'm gonna stay on this genre of music. My other passion in music is completely the opposite !! I have had the great fortune to see Metallica, Panthera, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse and Red hot chillies live over the last 15 years which are all still part of me.... What a mix up... Suppose could blame it on all the acid and E over my 10years of addction... Clean now, married and happy - isn't that what its all about !!
