baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! Having been around for over 2 decades,. Starting his career as a Pirate Radio dj in the mid 80's my style evolved with the various musical genres Dub, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, Disco to early House and Drum and Bass. I remember back in the days when raves were promoted primarily by flyers printed on actual paper and distributed to record shops that had bricks-and mortar storefronts lol you could go and visit that a DJ profile used to just mean someone name and their affiliations to rave collective and, later to record labels. Sure, those DJs that were big enough to have an agent probably already had a paragraph or two about them written down somewhere, but they circulated in a smaller, closed circuit of professionals I am very passionate about sharing with the audience what i think are the greatest records of the moment or what i think are timeless classics.To me, music is a universal language. It so diverse and speaks to every person differently. The way it's presented to the audience is just as important as the actual music".

Location London....Originally grew up playing a Reggae Sound called Jama,from a very young age,with my good friends from Jamaica,then as things progressed we used to get Dub-plates cut from top artists to play exclusively over our sound,then as things progressed I started making Music with a close Sound System member called Puma,we recorded various Reggae tracks,which mainly stayed underground,this progressed when I was introduced to the Rave scene...way back,we used to go to Rain Dance ,Sunrise ect...during this time we became heavily involved in studio work producing white labels,under the names of..Time Bandits,Hear the Noize,Erogenous Zone to name a few,we became friends with Fabio and Groove rider,and worked with Renk Records and Trouble on vinyl,producing,we where at the for front of the beginning of Drum and Bass,from the first use of Time stretching old reggae records with speeded up break beats...we had a great time,but it was always a struggle to cross over,as the Main stream/record companies where nervous and did not want to take chances with this new music...Drum and Bass,so as life dictates,I had a family and needed to survive,which meant a 9 to 5 job,which has to be done when you stand as a man for your family...so we gave up recording ect,and have fond memories to look back on and I am so happy Drum and Bass has come so far in the World,and would like to think we contributed to this happening ...so my Muzix lovers..stay blessed and live good..Respect..

Hi. Thank you for your interest if you are reading this. I've been mixing since the start of 2012, mostly with cdjs. If you have listened to any of my shows, you will know that I like to deviate a little from just playing Liquid dnb, you will probably agree that I also try not to deviate too far. I upload 2 shows per week, my Friday show (almost always new tunes with track listing) and my Sunday show which I tend to keep a little more chilled with my older and newer tunes.
