baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. Born as part of the Generation X era, Jeffrey – better known as Alides – grew up in the golden age of house music. Long nights in smoky clubs, hypnotic beats, and that magnetic energy on the dance floor shaped his musical DNA. While others were dancing, he was usually standing close to the DJ booth, watching closely, listening carefully, trying to understand the magic happening behind the decks.Eventually curiosity turned into passion. Jeffrey bought his first DJ setup and started mixing himself, guided not by digital tools or algorithms, but by pure instinct. In those days it was all about feeling the music, selecting the right track at the right moment, and building a journey that could move a crowd.His style developed around that feeling: deep, emotional house that allows people to lose themselves on the dance floor — that moment where the music takes over and it feels like you’re dancing alone in your own world.Over time, Jeffrey had the opportunity to play in several clubs, sharing his sound and energy with different crowds. But life, like music, has its own rhythm. The club scene changed, the world slowed down due to economic shifts and global events, and most importantly, Jeffrey became the proud father of a beautiful son. His DJ passion moved to the background, but never disappeared.Now, after 14 years away from the decks, the spark is alive again.
