Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham).This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.

I've been DJing on the UK House scene since 1993 (and for 2 years on the "rave" scene before that) and over the past 30+ years I've been fortunate enough to play for some of THE biggest and most established clubs and promoters around the globe, including bookings for the likes of Defected, Glitterbox, Mission, Garlands, FunkDelux, Hed Kandi, Dirtyfunk, Miss Moneypennys, The Gallery, Escucha, Head, Ministry Of Sound, Venus, Housexy, Hard Times, Xstatic, Progress, Fantazia, Xstatic, and many many more. Not to mention 2 seasons and countless trips out to Ibiza, Marbella and beyond to play for the likes of Es Paradis, Hed Kandi, Pacha, Kanya, Plastic, Itaca, Garlands, Blowin' Up, Ocean Beach, Mode and Zoo, and festival appearances at Xstatic, GFest and Lowdown. I am currently resident DJ for UK House promoters Housexy, and Glitteratti. I host a monthly guest mix on Cyprus based ROCKFM (3rd Friday of every month,8-10 UK time) which goes out on FM radio right across mainland and eastern Europe, as well as via the internet, and I also have a weekly radio show every Monday on sublimesounds.com (8-10pm UK time), not to mention regular guest slots on internet and FM radio stations all around the globe, from Australia to Brazil to Tokyo to Finland, and of course, the UK. In 2015 I won the House-Mixes Soulful House mix competition, which opened a lot of doors and gave me a huge amount of media interest around the globe. I've previously done a guest mix for Defected In The House radio, and 2 for Hed Kandi radio. In 2016 I took step back from DJing to focus on family life, getting married, children etc -y k'now, all the normal grown up stuff - and returned to live club DJing in 2019 after being offered a residency at Mono.... and I've been there pretty much ever since. It's great because they love my sound and believe in what i do, they give me the freedom to play the Disco House sound I love, when many other promoters are tending to favor darker techier sounds for their dancefloors. But the queues at the door each week show that people still love the Funky Disco House sound, and it's still got a massive army of fans who want something more soulful on their weekends. Even though I'm just starting out on my DJing journey again It's great to be back doing what I love and having the opportunity to play to a crowd, I really missed that interaction you only get with a live crowd. The scene itself may be more competitive than ever before, but its also more creative, and i like that, I love the fact that I can express myself through my music and creativity. 2023 is looking to be my busiest year yet, with DJ bookings and media interest building up nicely, and lots of international booking interest.
