worked as DJ ,in Manchester clubs late 70,s and 80,s ,also worked as backup/ agency DJ at the Warehouse & then best club in the world "The Hacienda" later married , went mobile (earn extra money) ,moved to entertainment agency ,worked most of the hi end hotels around Manchester and surrounding areas, to up head Dj residency at the Willows Salford ,up until it closure ,retired from the DJ scene , when wife was taken ill ,most of my DJ life was in the club scene , but northern soul was my escape, early in life I used to go to the casino , blue room, twisted wheel catacombs' torch ,mecca, plus rake of smaller venues: :Sincere apology's to any that have followed me , have not done much on here or work wise , I retired from the Club & DJ scene , when my wife found out she had cancer ,spent most of my time looking after her ,however since loosing her battle with the big C ,(July 2020)and the fact she told me to throw myself back into music once she had gone ,I am doing just that ,everything I upload from Jan 2021 is dedicated to her memory ,Thank you for the time we had together my love, gone but not forgotten. R.I.P Elsa my one and only Love, . . . And as always NO stupid intros ,talk overs, clip like :your listening to ??, a mix by DJ (Whatever the Name)or anything else all you hear on my mixes , is the music from start to finish Please note i don't push my mixes on here , its all done by ear if you like the mix tell your mates to listen or d/load thanks any northern soul fans drop me a message let me know where you are I'm based in Stockport, ps if your wondering why no track lists , well because some djs on here took my mixes as there own , naughty naughty , so if the few are going to do that the few are going to have to do some work sorting out what the tracks are ,no doubt other have had the same problem ,and as a result fill there mixes with intros etc , not me ,you get wall to wall music

I started Dj in in the middle 90’s after graduate from Specs Howard a friend of my got me into it Alisa Berry is her name to be exact. I have had a deep love for music since childhood with Mom singing and Dad playing with the saxophone she being a homemaker and pop an Air traffic Controller this meant I grew up with an eclectic background in music from Jazz, Soul, To Rock and roll My Dad’s favorite group is Cheep Trick . . lol. Not from Detroit born in Milwaukee WI. I moved around a lot because of my fathers Job, but I mostly grew up in Detroit a product of the Detroit Public School system “Redford High School to be exact “Go Huskies.” In High School and College where I became a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity house music was everywhere and I loved it. I remember after I crossed we heard my Frat brother Kevin Saunderson drop “Good Life” at an EMU party. I remember the music Institute and still have the flier from the three-day closing! House music has been a main stay in my life. I have produce podcast The Jazz Suite and Gospel Jazz Podcast for more than 6 years I’ve hosted internet radio show Treasures from grandpa’s attic and The Chris Kelly Show for SVMIX internet radio. I still do a Soul podcast called Getting-it-in Soul it has always been about the music. My business partner convinced me this year to start Djing in front of an audience again and I love it!!! I choose the name Dj J.Squared is a homage to my mother who passed away in 2004. My nickname growing up was J.J. because I’m named after my father so to pay homage to the woman who introduced me to all that I love about music so Dj J.Squared was born. I think I put in synch my first two vinyls a long, long time ago… Let me think a bit, I can remember what they were… Yes, I remember them well… Everybody's Free from Rozalla and the other was This is Your Life from Banderas. Wow! Two tracks that made me shake like mad. We're talking about the 80's Was a disco in a small mountain village at 1,000 m of height where I spent my holidays every year. A real heaven on Earth… It was a garden, I believe it was the only disco with fruit trees in the middle, ready to be eaten *Yummy* You'll ask yourself "How old is Dirtyangel"? Don't you believe in angels? Well, I am an angel so I wouldn't know how to answer to your question… I don't know how many of your years I can tell you that I have always been around, since a very long time I was born and raised in discos, by day, by night and by early morning. Obviously I took part in all the other Paradises spread across the planet… Ibiza and the different festivals around: Street Parade in Zurich, Love Parade in Berlin and so many rave parties (my daily bread) :) Since 5 years, I live with my friends happily on Second Life! I don't think I belong to the generation of the new Digital DJs I know about many of the issues against them… But i want to tell to everyone who already has spread all its poison against Digital DJs to keep cool and relax and enjoy the power of music, because war is always tough… There are hordes of meta DJs within the Metaverse and you have seen nothing yet xD My life is in between In-world and Out-world Clubs! Leaving apart all non-musical related matters, here you can listen to my mixes and soon also to my tracks… If you own a Club or if you organize events, you can contact me from here and ask me all you like! When you’re born with music circulating your veins, it invades and directs the courses of your life; so is the biography of 46-year-old Canadian DJ/Producer, DeGiacinto. Growing up in Ontario, Canada afforded him many opportunities to dedicate his life to music. From a budding age, the multi-faceted DJ learned to play guitar, violin, and flute. At age 16, he made advances playing at a local club in Cornwall, Ontario. The pivotal stage began when DeGiacinto became an apprentice playing at Le Houblon in Quebec. The position served as a catapult, launching his career past it’s beginning stages. Here he met crucial contacts like Pierre Tremblay, promoter and discjockey for a top radio station in Montreal. Tremblay bridged connections to larger venues and multiple learning opportunities, like performing at CKOI, the number one radio station in Montreal at the time. Equipped with an impressive resume and eager for further development of his career, the Canadian DJ moved to the colorful, lively world of Miami. The move marked a transition to the types of venues DeGiacinto began to play at. He began spinning at buoyant gay clubs, which eventually led to invitations to tour Canada and Costa Rica. He became enraptured with producing music with pulsating bass, and the energy from the crowds that followed. Today, DeGiacinto reigns in Tribal, Circuit and Progressive House genres. Creativity and inspiration are almost tangible with each set he performs. Unique to his sound are recordings from day-to-day experiences, which he then blends into his mixes, stamping his unmistakable signature on his sets. Inspiration is drawn from French classics like Edith Piaf and Charles Aznavour, as well as Mark DeMarko, Alex Acosta, Danny Verde, Ivan Gomez and Alex Ramos to name a few. These artists have motivated him in past and present to create the gems that are displayed at each of his performances. DeGiacinto’s tenacious nature allowed him to obtain a master’s degree in Digital Media in the late 90’s. He has also had the privilege of teaching college courses in Digital Media for close to eight years. Currently, he is producing steadily growing podcasts. DeGiacinto has plans to participate in popular venues like White and Winter Party in Miami, and expand his international reach.This is only beginning of his journey to discover the vastness of his musical expertise and inventiveness, and he would love your support along the way to musical prosperity.
