Been a Disc Jockey for close to 40 years. I worked clubs in NY/Long Island & Florida working some of the best clubs during their times. If you're familiar with Long Island, back in the late 70's and early 80's I worked every OBI which their were 3 of them. The one in Hamptons was outrageous during the summers as it was the place to be. Spinning in front of 1500 to 2000 people every Friday & Saturday night was a blast. Sunday afternoons was mind blowing.By time the mid to late 80's came around my favorite genre was Latin Freestyle. The music was smoking hot!! I had a 4 year run at this club in Bayshore called Club Paradise from 1985-1989. One thing about latino's they know how to party!!!. I had every track act in this club which only had a 600 capacity. To date it was by far the best club I ever worked. Hanging out with the likes of Stevie B, The Cover Girls, TKA, George Lamond Judy Torres & my favorite female freestyle artist, Cynthia was a trip. The music was real. The crowds partied real hard & to this day I still enjoy the music. Every now & then I pull out the autographed pictures from all the artists that I broke in this club and I smile thinking about the memories. I hung up the headphones a few years back & only break them out to do a classic disco or freestyle night. I also appreciate real good house music with piano grooves and riffs.

DJ MC Mello has dedicated over 35 years to his craft as a DJ, starting in the mid-1980s. His repertoire includes a diverse range of genres, from Dance and House to Rock, Disco, and Old-school, among others. He has graced venues such as "The Scratch," "Club Crescent," and "Club Ozone" in downtown Montreal. Today, he continues to entertain as a mobile DJ for "Sound Express." I am DJ JokR a.k.a " The Crazy Cuban." Being around music all my life I have a dream to entertain the world. With a passion for music and being a comedian I began my DJ music career in Miami FL as a DJ/MC sidekick to a fellow DJ. I played music the first half and then MC'd the second. I been part of Midnight Sun Entertainment for sometime now and we DJ everything from small house parties to Weddings, Quinceañeras/Sweet-Sixteens,to even restaurants and clubs, I have been labeled "The Life of The Party.". After 8 years of being partners with another reputable entertainment company in SWFL, I opened my own business J.L.B.S Entertainment. I'm grateful for being part of such great team that help me grow and become better in the business. I Love to play all types of music from Hip-Hop to Country, Rock, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggae/Reggaeton, Dance, Cubaton, House, Old School, Freestyle, Disco/Retro and more. My opinion is "without music the world is a silent playground...we need MUSIC!"
