Metro Beatz also known as 'LC' orginally from Lawrence, Ma has a long history & career in music since the mid 80s starting with his first rap group 'The Fresh Express - Stop (Before You Get Started)' which was a local hit in Greensboro, NC then scored an underground rap hit in 1990 with his group 'Mind Over Matter - Invisible Enemy' Soon after, Metro Beatz would move to Atlanta in 1990 working with several upcoming R&B & Hip artist, working at records stores, spinning at clubs in Atlanta and spinning mixtapes eventually collaborating with Chris Brann from Wamdue Kids, he caught the bug for House music, relocated to South Florida spinning on Miami's number one station Hot 105, spinning celebrity parties and released his first solo House music project on Terrence Parker's 'Parker MusicWorks Label' in 2008. 27 years ago i bought a set of Technics 1210 turntables. I did this after my mate took me to a Warehouse Rave to see a DJ called Slipmatt. Ever since then i have practised all things DJ. To this day i still follow listen an study Slipmatt's mixtape's as well as keep regular contact with the man himself. I am always searching an digging for new tune's. I play very different genres of Rave music. What I find really hard is to find fresh New Skool breaks that i like. There is a lot of it out there but its no where near as good as the old skool rave breaks i feature on most my mixtapes. But if you are a Producer of New Skool Breakbeat's or at least a producer that can create a track with the old skool rava in mind, or you can point me onto a certain producer making New Skool Rave breaks, inbox me straight away. If it is good enough i will feature them or you on my next mixtape.
