baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. From as early as grade school Tony was always into music. In the 6th grade Tony was spinning "Saturday Night Fever" LP's while the other kids danced. In high school, Tony was the guy with a huge ghetto blaster perched on his shoulder with the hottest new releases. Tony also spent some time in a band and playing guitar but it was in the early nineties he bought his first turntables and started mixing. Professionally, Tony started his career playing at the infamous Ibiza Hotel. One night, world famous DJ Dimitris Mykonos heard him spinning and approached him about working together. For many years Dimitris and Tony could be seen together playing parties at Ibiza, Pleasurezone. Tony has even performed several events for MTV including a nationally broadcast episode of the reality show Fraternity Life. Tony has had the great pleasure to spin at venues in Vegas and Internationally has had the chance to DJ at some great venues in Indonesia and Singapore including the reknowned Double 6 nightclub in Bali. Now-a-days Tony still enjoys his residency at Pleasurezone. He also has been performing at Dusk Parties around the Bay. With such a wide repertoire of music (Dance, Hip Hop, Top 40, mash-ups and more) Tony Roxxx has found his way into some of the top venues in San Francisco and the South Bay including 1015 Folsom, Ruby Skye and many others. Hi all, I’m DJ Lady P. I’ve had an interest in music since the mid 80s and really got into collecting vinyl towards the end of the decade ('87). I've always been a lover of underground music, and listening to pirate radio stations, e.g. Kiss, Lazer & Sub Zero. I would be the one up late at night recording the latest releases on a tape recorder, trying to record shows without the talking. I used to get some of my vinyl from Body Music in North London, Silver Back Records, West London and Reckless Records in Soho to name a few. I first tried mixing when my brother was moving and he gave me his gold-plated Technics 1210s. Then I started helping a friend out doing a Disco night for 5 years at The Spread Eagle in Rayleigh, eventually taking over. Most of my time got taken up sorting out playlists on CDs, so I did not have the time to play my vinyl. However, Disco wasn't really my thing so I did a few private parties instead, which were fun. Then a friend introduced me to TJO and he invited me to his for a mix, and after a half hour "audition" he put me live on Twisted Radio!! He thought I did very well and lent me his spare CDJs as I did not have any. He was full of support and encouragement, urging me to keep at it. A few years down the line and TJO once again gave me an opportunity to play on the radio, this time with HorizonFM.net. I jumped at the chance. I played with Horizon for 3 years, starting with Minimal/Tech House, moving onto Electro and then Progressive House, making some great new friends along the way. Since then I’ve played on a few other radio stations, but nothing as regular. I've also started organizing my own events - “Infected," which is Progressive house and Hard Trance and "Infected Jungle," which is... Jungle!! Hard work but worth it.
