My musical journey began in the mid-1970s during the disco era, when I first became interested in playing music. In 1982, just a year out of high school, I landed my first club job. I kept working through the ’80s and ’90s, building nightclub and radio careers that each lasted more than 25 years.In 1986, I walked through the doors of New York City’s legendary Palladium for the first time. It was a life-changing experience, and I went on to spend many happy nights there. I’m proud to say I was never turned away from the Palladium or the Limelight - memories I’ll carry with me always.Today, I host *Open House With Charlie Dix* and *The Last Tower* on Cambrian Radio, and *Progressive Heat* on YouTube. I’m still playing, still sharing the music I love, and hope to keep going for years to come.

I have loved dance music since I was a child. I started listening to that good and rhythmic music that broke the dance floor at the very first tune. I also had the chance to listen to the first house music tracks coming to The Netherlands. Now I try to put it together all these genres that I have always enjoyed plus the fantastic tracks we listen today in House and Deep House, and Nu Disco all in separate DJ-Sets covering Deep House, House, and Nu Disco grooves. My main objective is to make you have a real good time and to bring you a great time too.

Da 18 anni sul forum (e da 15 sulla webradio) facciamo quello che praticamente nessuno al di fuori di noi fa. La passione per l'edm a 360° ci ha portato a diventare il vero punto d'incontro per chi sa selezionare solo il meglio della scena secondo vari parametri che in primis puntano alla meritocrazia : qualità, idee, valore delle melodie. Siamo ''una mosca bianca'' in un mondo che va avanti con raccomandazioni e favori per amici e amicucci. Foxato's Radio e il Foxato's Forum sono quello che all'estero è in gran parte la normalità, mentre in Italia qualcosa di anomalo. Il meglio della musica edm tramite gli stili che la rendono più dignitosa, il tutto in programmi radio, approfondimenti e recensioni last minute per quella che è la community in cui se ne entri a far parte ti trovi in un vero e proprio paradiso musicale.

I've been mixing music since about 1998... These days, it's just a hobby.Once a month or so, I download a bunch of tracks and make a fresh mix out of them. I mostly play House Music. It's what moves me. As they say, "House is a feeling..." I try to smoosh good tunes with good mixes. I mostly pull it off, I believe. Any of my sets will include a bunch of House, Techno, and Trance. I try not to get too locked in on one genre because I find 60 minutes of anything to be too redundant. I try to keep it fresh, upbeat, and fun and most importantly, BANGING!!Favorite DJs: Bad Boy Bill and Richard "Humpty" Vission are the two that inspired me to want to get into DJing long ago. They will always be the best to me. Any dickhead can stand there and play records. Those two put on a show- nay, a clinic on how it's done. If they're ever in your town, go see them!
