Hi. My name is Kaine and I'm from doncaster in south yorkshire.I've been djing for about a year now and what a year it has been. My first taste of playing to an audience came with a residency at coast2coast in my hometown of doncaster. I held onto that for 6 months whilst also playing at other events inside and out of doncaster since. It first started many years ago when I got my first decks, A homemix system. For all the time I had it I couldnt get the hang of it but after getting rid of it I decided to take lessons from a dear friend of mine now called dave watson. The bug bit well and truly and I purchased a pair of pioneer cdj 350's and a djm 350 mixer, from there I gained my first residency after a trial set. As I gain more experience, I notice that I improve with every set I do and have finally found the style I am comfortable with is a mixture of fast driving tech trance plus dark & funky hardgroove techno.I like to keep the energy flowing and not stop-starting with a big breakdown every single song but space them out. Whilst there is a flow there, the crowd can get lost in the music and create an unforgettable experience. Now its the only music I live for and to be given the opportunity to play is a great privilege that I never take for granted. Every gig to me is treated like my first and is given as much love and attention as the last.At present I'm a resident for mix sessions with deckteaser & macloud where I play tech trance.Other venues I have played at so far:-Let's Get Digital @ Biarritz in Hull (Progressive Trance)September Spantangular @ Beaverworks in Leeds (Progressive & Uplifting Trance)Wrong @ Toast in Doncaster (Electro, Jackin House, Funky House)BSLN @ Junction Club in Toll Bar, Doncaster (Bounce, Tech Trance, Hardgroove Techno)Essence @ Club Ciros @ Ashby De La Zouch (Tech Trance)Off The Rails Pre-Party at The Howard (Progressive Trance)Blueprint @ Club Copabanca, Blackpool (Tech Trance)I have played alongside the following djs:- Dan Stone, Davey Asprey, Danny Mansfield, Paul Pearson Leibo, James Dymond, M-Zone, Dave Watson, Deckteaser, Macloud and many more.I always take promos with me to any events I attend and I am actively looking for bookings. For bookings please contact myself on 07584124114

I first started djing around about 12 years ago when i was 17. It was by chance i knew a dj in a bar and one week he asked me if i could do his set for him as he couldnt make it and gave me a brief lesson on what to do and from there i was hooked. I started getting sets playing hip hop and garage in Doncaster and sheffield and then discovered speed garage in 2001 and then started playing that. During that time myself and 2 others started a label called Gridlockd Records which became one of the biggest labels in the scene in a very short time as we were the only label making original tracks. Fast forward 12 years and in that time i played the first bassline set on bbc 1xtra, put together a compilation for ministry of sound (Maximum bass 2007) And had tracks signed to mos and all around the world (Universal). I decided in 2008 that i wasnt gonna pidgeonhole myself to one genre and went self employed as a dj and tutor. Around that time i got my own show on local legal radio station sine fm and my weekend vibes show did so well they moved me from 2-3 sat afternoon to 6-8 saturday night the show before dj legend graeme park. Nowadays i do a show called the history of Dance music on sine fm 102.6fm in Doncaster or www.sinefm.com worldwide every tuesday evening 8pm-10pm.
