so gegen Mitte der 90’er kam ich auf den Geschmack der Clubsounds. So ab 1994 bin ich mit meinen Freunden in den Soundgarden in Dortmund zum Feiern gegangen, was fast jedes Wochenende war. Kurze zeit später, kamen noch andere Clubs dazu, die mich auch sehr Geprägt haben. Dazu zählen vor allem der Club Depot in Münster, der zu meinen Lieblingsclubs gezählt hat. Zudem kommen noch dazu der Poison Club in Düsseldorf, Ballhaus in Dortmund, Clubbing 69 in Dortmund…….. usw. 1999 ungefähr habe ich schon Erfahrung im Mixen von Musik gesammelt. 2001 habe ich angefangen, Vinyl zu Mixen. Seitdem bin ich überzeugter Vinylmixer wobei mittlerweile auch CD Player zu meinen Instrumenten dazu zählen. I originally started listening to the darker side of D&B, i give a lot of respect to DJ Hazard because that's where i got my inspiration to become a DJ, the first ever Liquid Drum & Bass track I listened to was Logistics - Together. Plus hopefully one day, i'm hoping to start and make my own Drum & Bass tracks / music, once i have a bit more knowledge on the music, I've been DJing for over 2 years now, I'm still learning but I'm getting there. And I've also been a Drum & Bass fan for over 10 years.

hello im jay aka dj Jest! Im a multi genre dj who started mixing back in 2000 on a pair of technics before switching to cdjs in 2011. I first started mixing trance music but due to my love of many genres i soon began experimenting with different sounds...i now play trance, hardhouse, house, drum and bass (liquid/classics/jump up), hardcore (olsdkool & newskool), jungle, garage (oldskool ukg) and anything else i can get my hands on! Although mainly mixing at home and on internet radio (with a few sets out) i still dream of playing out more! Greenbins career as a DJ stretches right back to warehouse parties that brought about a cultural revolution in the North of the UK in the late 80s and early 90s. He was a regular DJ at those parties, and also a resident DJ at a small, but legendary club in Blackburn called Monroes in 1990-91. From Monroes other residencies and guest spots soon followed at venues such as Sequins, Zone and Jooce in Blackpool, Angels in Burnley, Manhattan Heights and Peppermint Place in Blackburn, Quadrant Park in Liverpool, Revenge Parties, Blackburn warehouse parties, 808 State Show on Sunset FM, Maximes in Wigan, Manhattans in Southport to name just a handful. Greenbins was also an original resident DJ on Friday nights with DJ Welly at the Pleasuredrome, and was also to feature heavily when the night was moved to Trafford Park and became Life @ Bowlers. I bought my 1st set of decks in 93..and still have em! :) DJ'd at friends partys and once at BAR PERU bolton waaay bk in 96.... Frequented many of the great clubs in the 90's starting with PLEASUREDROME in farnworth then WIGAN PIER & MAXIMES in wigan,followed LIFE to the mighty BOWLERS,aswell as KINETIC,SHELLYS, and some mint allnighters VISION 93. Put out my raving shoes to pasture in 96,when in my opinion..it all went down hill and lost the 'VIBE' :( The revival of the 'oldskool scene' has got me back into the music that i sadly lost contact with for a few yrs,aswell as breakbeat and nu-rave. Slowly getting into buying vinyl again after a 2-3yr gap of only playing mp3's and loving the challenge. My mixes aint perfect...but hope you enjoy them all the same. My set up- TECHNICS 1200'S BEHRINGER DJX700 mixer. Old and new mixes will be posted as i have loads on soundcloud,mediafire,4shared yaada yaada..all comments welcome,good n bad lol thanks :)

I'm Jase Crawley, 45, and I live and work in Manchester in the U of K. I've been buying records since I was 7 / 8 years old and I still haven't grown out of the habit yet. I've been making my own music, remixes, re - edits, and bootlegs for about the last 17 years, and have DJ'd since I was 17. This account represents 5 years worth of my musical output in the form of mostly DJ sets - think it must have close to 500+ mixes now, there's probably close to a hundred original tunes and re - edits etc, and loads of other stuff I've completely forgotten about.
