I'm Jase Crawley, 45, and I live and work in Manchester in the U of K. I've been buying records since I was 7 / 8 years old and I still haven't grown out of the habit yet. I've been making my own music, remixes, re - edits, and bootlegs for about the last 17 years, and have DJ'd since I was 17. This account represents 5 years worth of my musical output in the form of mostly DJ sets - think it must have close to 500+ mixes now, there's probably close to a hundred original tunes and re - edits etc, and loads of other stuff I've completely forgotten about. I've had 120,000 hits since my first upload to here, so big thanks for all that amazing support. Have a forage bout, and hit play, and see what happens. Hope you find something you enjoy. Jase (AKA Badfinger / JBC) Happy Listening!!!

i started djing at 16 after months of begging the parents for months to buy me some 1210s,which i still use today going strong.my passion in music has to be old school piano, retro and vocal funky house if you cant sing to it then its no good lol.in the early nineties i started going clubbing, and for me to this day was the best for music.when i first got my 1210s i had no intension of djing in clubs it was just a hobby for and for my own enjoyment.i was actually tricked by a fellow dj and good friend who was already djing in clubs, when he phoned me up one thurday night and said he was ill and needed me to help him out and play at a bar for him,to which i found out later it was actually a dj competition to which he entered me and to my surprise i won to which the prize was residency at bradfords biggest dance club which pulled 700 to 800 in every friday and saturday night,my first night djing in the club was christmas eve which was packed out and i was shitting it,it was a big difference mixing some tracks in the bedroom and then to bid audience but i absolutely loved it and was hooked, and so my djing career was born. within the first year things went from strength to strength playing in numerous clubs all over yorkshire and holding down residencys and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the country (alister whitehead,k klass, paul taylor just to name a few) i was more known as a dj for my old school sets and so i was made a resident for retro which took me to ibiza djing at eden and loved every minute. in the mid 2000s i began working with a fellow dj (adam g) at a place called bar me which was just a bar not a club, but in the first 6 months playing there the profits soared 700% and went from a free bar and having to pay in on the door,so we sat down and thought were on to a winner here and decided to brand our own night and event, and so worship was born. our brand of night went from strength to strength holding down rooms at space, gatecrasher, visage and ethios, garlands and many more,we even ended up with our own radio show on a friday night on dvm radio (dance vinyll masters). i think the reason our night worked so well was because we didnt brand it as one style of music it was straight across the board,if it was a classic then it got played. in 2008 we decided to pull the brand as we both wanted to persue over interests,i decided to take a break from djing as it got to a stage where i stopped enjoying it and felt more of a chore going to work instead of doing something i loved. so now im back, loving my music more then ever and back on the scene :-)

DeeJay Jamie Jay began as a writer of a graffiti crew called FTV. In the summer of 1988, I spent several months in Manchester, Uk, attending club events at Hacienda and Boardwalk watching the heats of DMC and and buying the new tunes at Spin in Records. It was there that I fell in love with hiphop music. Back in Warrington , I teamed up with Tasker who was already creating a name for himself in the Graffiti scene in Northwest. Until then, I had mostly been spinning hip-hop and funk. In the Summer of 1990 i discorverd a club that rocked a new vibe that was House music. House quickly rose popularity throughout the Northwest and the rest of the U.K .This is where i got my first taste of dance music, importing from the USA trolling record shops for that rare gem. As my taste was allways HipHop the piano tunes from Italy was replaced by a new cool sound that was Early Drum n Bass, Jungle. This music improved my Djing skills tenfold, cutting two records up, playing around with the rythmic dynamics. I began to get a reputation for solid mixes diverse in style that was popular in the Northwest, mainly playin private partys and ilegal events.

HI there Im Retired from dj ing now after 25 yrs, well i say that but have a few nights now and then, ive played all overLondonfor all the big clubs over the years, and in the south.. started with oldskool, then house, then hard trance and acid techno.. before moving on to what i am known for inLondonon the underground circuit back then is hard house,it was known as hard bag in the early days, was one of the dj`s that was playing it as it was new to the dance scene from the days of house and the days of club uk, there was house, progressive house, industrial techno, then hard bag came about, it was different from all other music at the time and was for the hard head to rave to, some of the promotions i have played for over the years are hacienda, gods kitchen, ministry of sound, cream, house ofWindsor( mirage ) satellite, mind over matter, frantic, twisted, sunny side up, trinity, liberty, freedom, smile, convergence, smileCyprus, pandemonium, strawberrySunday, aphrodisiac, intrigue, hard drive, catch 22, provocation, eye q, wobble, rush, wobble berry, bounce, to name a few but there are many more, sorry if i haveforgottenyou, let me know and i will put you up, I have a load of live sets that were recorded in the clubs over the years, have all different styles of music, so will be putting them up from now on, alot of the recordings would have had over a 1000 ravers avin it,that'show it was back then,so imagine that when listening, some of the mixes maybe shady in places but hey its live and all done on vinyl please feel free to share, download, and comment ect ... I have had such joy bringing the live mixes to you and the response ive had has been amazing, thanks for listening and enjoying them and understanding, they were when the music was brand new and were fresh on the decks everyweek.... Enjoy.. Brad
