Born in Milan (Italy) in 1975, he began playing at the age of 14; he officially debuted at the age of 18 in the club Old Fashion in Milan: during these years his experience and musical education led him to collaborate with many clubs in Milan including Atlantique, Magazzini Generali, Tocqueville, Casablanca, Hollywood. His eclectic sound retraces the house music in different deep, soulful, funk, tech, electro influences, standing out for his originality and the performance of his Dj -Set. During the following years he toured Italy working together with many clubs: Fura (Lonato Bs), Ecu, Echos (Rimini), Maneggio (Romagnano Sesia No), Post Garage (Milan Malpensa Airport),Fluid (Bergamo) Bambu (Milan), Roialto (Milan), Magazzini Generali (Milan), InnVilllà (Milan), Love (Milano), DeSade (Milan), 11Clubroom (Milan ), 4cento (Milan), Love (Milan). In cooperation with The All Music staff he took part in various events in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Rimini. Then he arrived at Exogroove Communication in Milan and that allowed him to join the staff-dj in club events at Disco Egiptus (Fidenza), Tereviri,(Cremona), Rimbalzello (Salo BS). Between 2009 and 2013 he worked with The Beach, Bambù Lounge Bar and Delano in Milan; he also took part in some dates of the tour in Milan Red Bull. He performed important experiences in Dj Setwith the artists of Bolognese SlowDeepRecords label, with which he still collaborates and performs several “One Night”between Emilia and Lombardy. He takes part in many events with Clubs: Fabrique (Milan), MagazziniGenerali (Milan), Tocqueville (Milan), CastaDiva (Blevio CO), 4cento (Milano), Love(Milano); he works for the Milan Fashion Week parties, the Milan Furniture Fair and Hotel Magna Pars Suites (Milan) events. He cooperates with several european clubs such as: Delano (Ibiza), NoSoloAgua(Vilamoura- Portugal), SubClub (Bratislava), NyX (Lugano), Privilege (Lugano), SuperParadise (Mykonos), and in 2010 he took part in the “Brasil Folia” in Salvador De Bahia collaborating with Club Margherita. From February 2015 up to now he is performing a signi cant experience in Thailand at the Phuket and Koh Samui Clubs: Heaven, Iguana Beach Bar, Surfhouse Kata Beach, Hq,Catch Beach, Sri Panwa, LINK Cuisine & Lounge. From 2020 He joined the Staff of House Radio Digital London Radio Broadcaster and in 2021 began a new collaboration with D.Wild Music Radio - The Wildest Station On The Planet with the Program ""House Music Journey". Co Founder of Taste The Groove Milano, and other projects with other national and international partners as Spanish crews SoundJockey Madrid and Yellowness Ibiza

From Vauxhall NJ where I first heard a DJ by the name of George Potter who helped me create my first mix with two turn tables at the age of 13. Then there was Mark Thompson who helped me polish up my skills on blending. Other mentors to me are Vernon Roberts, Phase III Disco aka DJ Butch, and Larry Morman. But it was when I went to my first night club New Experience and listened to Mark Thompson mix with 3 turntables and a reel to reel and said this will be me someday. Then there was the Paradise Garage, what an experience. Larry Levan is a one of kind. It was when I heard him for the first time and learned it’s not about the mix but about the music and how you control the music. I took that being said to Germany where I spent 4 ½ years in the army DJ’ing around Europe in several night clubs and raves. The way you control the music puts you in complete control of the crowed. So I would just like to say to up and coming DJ’s out there, it’s not always your mix but the song you play and how you play it. The right song played the right way will always move crowed!!

I mostly spinned at LE PALACE & LE PRIVILEGE (gay tea dance & after hour ), REX CLUB, GIBUS, MAN RAY, GAY PRIDE and many other places between 85 & 95. Still mixing every now and then but still "vinyls junkie" even if I mix with my Mac now. I play “soulful house music”. Deep, Garage, Real House, Vintage House, Disco, Soul, ….. DJ andré, Mandel Turner, Adam Scott, DJ Deep are my friends. As a young lad fresh out of school with no idea of how the big wide world spins I was fortunate for my first job to be in a record shop in Sunderland called Volume records. It was the mid 80's so it was mainly the electronic 80's sound that was around with the main RnB singers like Luther and Alexander O'Neal leading the way for soul. I however opted for the electronic 80's sound but fell in love with Soul & RnB in the 90's but not before the early days of RAVE. Living in the coal mining area of the north east there was only one popular sound in the 90's and that was Hardcore...I could not stand the stuff and still can't to this day. So I was alone with my music and over time had a massive collection of soulful and mellow 90's tracks (The Beloved, Mantronix etc) so decided to invest in a couple of belt drive turntables. It took me years to get used to them and then the Pioneer CDJ 500's landed...I was reborn I loved them, my music collecting and fascination went into overdrive, I used to eat, sleep and drink house music, while all my mates were off to the hardcore raves I would look around and find nothing. Then "THE SHINDIG" opened it doors in 1992 and world renowned DJ's were on my door step and the best time of my life had begun. This created memories and I made friends for life all thanks to house music. While all this was going on I continued to polish my mixing and tune my style by playing in small bars and venues across the North of England which eventually led me to a regular slot on Pressure radio, so I would end by saying.... We are only on the earth for a short while so why not try and make you mark on it. I would like to think I have helped educate many people on the style and vibe of soulful deep house through my mixes and would like to keep that side of house going as long as possible. It feels and looks like it is one of the main genres of house that is really struggling for the past few years and it is mainly the mature heads that are loyal to this timeless art form of music; however I'm sure the longevity of the music we love will help keep it from fading totally and with the likes of VBW, Southport & Suncebeat championing it there are years of life left in it....and after all its ..MATURE MUSIC FOR MATURE EARS.

I grew up loving music since i was a kid,i listen to all sorts of music,my genre that i like most is old skool,r&b,soulfull house,funky house,jazz,reggae anything goes.I do most mixes for people to enjoy and share and really try to keep it simple and clean as possible.I also have youtube channes called Dj funky Joe..so check it out...i try to load my mixes on youtube to share with followers....
