DJ MC Mello has dedicated over 35 years to his craft as a DJ, starting in the mid-1980s. His repertoire includes a diverse range of genres, from Dance and House to Rock, Disco, and Old-school, among others. He has graced venues such as "The Scratch," "Club Crescent," and "Club Ozone" in downtown Montreal. Today, he continues to entertain as a mobile DJ for "Sound Express." From the main stage to the underground and back in the days. Captivated by the invisible force of music and the magnificent thought that the right track dropped at the right time can change it all I started to compile my own music discs for smaller events and family gatherings. And because this soon was not enough I started virtual djing back in 2009 on my home computer... Well yes I've come a long way until today and before Covid 19 dropped I have had the chance to play many events such as wedding celebrations, birthday parties or company anniversaries as a hit deejay...and also entering the clubs and small festivals stages playing house, commercial, techno and progressive live sets mainly back to back with my beast buddy DJ Altavozzz. So now even when Corona lay us down I am still searching 24/7 – true to the motto music is essential like the air to breathe – for the highlights in electronic music regardless of genre, artist and age. Like an acoustic journey, from the main stage to the underground and back in the days. Music has no boundaries. Music is able to express things we can not put into words. It helps us to celebrate life and let all those special moments never slip out of our memory. It helps us to mourn and fade out all the sorrow in a melancholic world which let us never lose our faith for tomorrow. Closing our eyes we can feel how influenced our heart is by the BPM we hear and in what special way it controls our mood leaving us smiling or crying. The invisible force of music. DJ JD has spent the past two decades building an impressive resume by immersing himself in the club and private event sectors. He developed his love of DJ’ing through the versatile musical influences whilst growing up. He couldn't wait to get behind the decks and put into practice what he had learned. Starting his career as a DJ rocking the house parties back in Johannesburg - South Africa, he explored various styles and genres with a focus on dance, hip hop and RnB. JD began creating his own fusion of house and party vibes for clubs and private venues whilst executing demands of the dance floors. From weddings to clubs and cocktail bars to private events JD ignites his passion for music and sounds from the far reaches of the globe. His adolescent years were spent challenging the resident DJs of well established night clubs to DJ battles where he gained a wealth of experience and knowledge of reading the crowds. With an extensive music collection ranging from golden oldies to the latest pop and charts and with subscriptions to record labels JD is able to keep his music repertoire fresh and current. JD believes the most important thing when playing is that his sets must be fun, getting a crowd going by playing popular songs fused with versions people necessarily haven’t heard before, capturing the imagination of the dance floor. Been a Disc Jockey for close to 40 years. I worked clubs in NY/Long Island & Florida working some of the best clubs during their times. If you're familiar with Long Island, back in the late 70's and early 80's I worked every OBI which their were 3 of them. The one in Hamptons was outrageous during the summers as it was the place to be. Spinning in front of 1500 to 2000 people every Friday & Saturday night was a blast. Sunday afternoons was mind blowing.By time the mid to late 80's came around my favorite genre was Latin Freestyle. The music was smoking hot!! I had a 4 year run at this club in Bayshore called Club Paradise from 1985-1989. One thing about latino's they know how to party!!!. I had every track act in this club which only had a 600 capacity. To date it was by far the best club I ever worked. Hanging out with the likes of Stevie B, The Cover Girls, TKA, George Lamond Judy Torres & my favorite female freestyle artist, Cynthia was a trip. The music was real. The crowds partied real hard & to this day I still enjoy the music. Every now & then I pull out the autographed pictures from all the artists that I broke in this club and I smile thinking about the memories. I hung up the headphones a few years back & only break them out to do a classic disco or freestyle night. I also appreciate real good house music with piano grooves and riffs.

Born in London and actually living in Madrid [Spain]. I had been listening & involved with music for more than 50 Years from now. Since I was a child I grew up listening classic Opera & easy listening Artists. That´s probably the reason why I appreciate music in general very much & helped trained my ear since then. I Love many different genres & have a great music collection in my personal discoteque. Good recordings are mostly essencial for me. I started challenging and proving I could create any genre Mixes without the use of expensive & professional controllers no pre-phone involved, only with the use of my ears, & my wonderful PC as tools. Today I use my Pioneer Pro controller to Mix all sessions in a one & only take.
