baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. He startet already at the age of 16 in greece where he premiered at a tiny bar called spinning records. But his later move to Germany for study reasons didn’t leave him much time for his spinning hobby. So that by the end of 2010, he decided to connect again full contact – various big scale events invited him to perform: greenkom cgn, rudeboy cgn, 321festival netherlands, Blue-Onyx club hamburg, Club 136° Hamburg and inches frankurt are only the start yet. His sets are influenced by various styles as there are for example techhouse, tribal, and progressive, while electro and trance elements are his icing on the cake. Costa Colorados Germany career started in October 2011 at the Blue-Onyx afterhour club (fabulous events). A week later, the management of Green Komm Cologne booked him right away for December 2011. Shortly later, again, the management of an upcoming big scale festival in the netherlands invited him to perform. Those two bookings mark the high so far, let’s see where Costa Colorado gets next. Now, in 2012, Costa Colorado plans to update his vibe some more into the direction of electro and trance. He will also focus on producing his own tracks. His ever-growing community of fans can’t wait to hear more from him.
