Hi, thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Doenja Clerkx, I grew up in Lisse, The Netherlands. When I was a kid I always wanted to become an artist, but not in music, in painting! I followed drawing lessons and chose it as one of my courses in pre-university education. In the last year, I decided to study economics, after painting three pictures that said everything I wanted to say at that time. I was then alreay starting to grow a passion for music, especially trance. During college I was looking for new ways to use my creative drive and one day I bought Music maker, because I was starting to become a real trance freak. I really loved making music, but got bored of working with somebody elses ideas. I wanted to create it myself! Two months later, my first idea just popped up: the lead for Live your dream. Bit by bit more pieces came up, including a vocal. Since it kept me awake almost every night, I decided to buy a synthesizer and a better PC. I made the first version with music maker. It was a mess, but I could finally get some decent sleep! In the mean time, I came up with lots of other ideas, so I decided to do things right and replace Music maker with Cubase. In 2011 I took a DJ-ing course, which I've been wanting to do for a long time. You can listen to the results here, I hope you enjoy it!

Became a Freelance Dj when in my view dance music was being produced to the highest quality 1998. Back then I was well into the Trance scene doing Trance gigs in UK, Ibiza and Faliraki, In 2004 I started experimenting with other Genres of music including House which opened the doors to many commercial venues playing Funky House etc and had alot of work from those years also staying in the Trance scene for the not so commercial venues. House music got split into many sub genres in the past few years and I took a liking to Electro which gave me opportunities locally to have some of the biggest Electro nights I've seen or had. The commercial venues had now established a good House scene to which I started experimenting with Live mashups and remixing on set which gave me a new phenomenom to give crowds that little bit more to get excited about . I'm now mainly remixing and mashing anything that works well but also as little treats digging out those big tunes from years gone by and throwing them into a mix to take us all back keeping with the Trance / Funky House / Electro House experience.
