It's not about me or any amazing DJ tricks that I could do - it's about the MUSIC. I am Seanskee, a DJ since 1979. I am an experienced nightclub, event, festival and mix-show DJ. I have played to crowds from the hundreds, to thousands, to tens(hundreds?)-of-thousands in clubs, theaters, events and on TV. My work has taken me from Chicago, to Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco, among many other cities in the U.S. In Chicago during the rise of House Music in the 1980s and early 1990s -I was Director of Audiotalent/Chicago Music Pool, and wrote / edited / published Street Mix Magazine. As an influential taste-maker, I was featured in clubs like Domaine, Le Passage, Red Dragon, Shelter, China Club, Esoteria, NRG, Baja Beach Club, Tijuana Yacht Club, Sabrina, Eddie Rockets, S.O.P., and many others around all of the Chicagoland area. I have opened for Deee-Lite, and performed on live TV for New Year's Eve celebration on CBS Chicago broadcast from China Club, among other notable events. I was in the music business for 20+ years working for record labels and management companies, working artists' projects from LaTour, Jamie Principle, Cookie Watkins, Steve "Silk" Hurley, M-Doc; and others like Rage Against the Machine, Korn, Funkdoobiest, Volume 10, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Machines of Loving Grace, The Crow Soundtrack and more. I moved into radio as an on-air personality which led to being a music director, program director and operations manager for Top-40, Rhythmic and Alternative/Modern Rock stations in several states in the USA. I produced and hosted a mix-show for 8 years in Northern California on public radio station KRCB-FM, featuring some of the best DJs from around the world. I am also a remixer, editor and producer with new works coming. Currently I reside on the Florida Suncoast, working on and posting new mix sets online and streaming projects. The route was, first loving all dance music. Than expressing myself 17 years young as nopromedia guy with projekt:watchyaself ,dj name:straighthead, a brutal hardcore using only thecd dj, without pitch. Than some 5 years later, after being to many parties and clubs, I starting to love the psychedelic grooves, In a small 'grachtenpand'club in Amsterdam, I had my first warm premier goa party. The club "MaZZ0" with dj Avi (Am*dam) played 7 days a week, original psychedelic techno/Goa. I became GOAHIPPY, also went to Anjuna (The paradise of drugs and booms)(India) There were at certain nights parties everywhere, in the jungle (Bamboo Forest), at the shore (Shiva Valley)(Prime Rose). And nowerdays I mix everything digital,with my small pc,resultjust perfect. I always publish mixes that are equal to the quality I experienced at the parties, and the cd shop mix cd's. They call me HARDCOREHIPY
