DJ Kevian originally from Bournemouth started as a DJ on 2CR Bournemouth before moving to Australia in 1987. Working as a radio DJ on 100FM in Western Australia DJ Kevian quickly made a name for himself managing a radio show called Scratch FM playing underground British dance music. Playing in top clubs across Australia DJ Kevian has won the Western Australian DJ Championship and has been a guest DJ with music artists such as Tone Loc and Boy George. The British born DJ became famous for mixing a unique blend of dance music and went on to remix for Red Hot Chilli Peppers tour of Australia. Having previously lectured as the head of multimedia at SAE College in Perth, Western Australia DJ Kevian is now back in Bournemouth, England producing his own dance music.

I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Stay safe all.The Witch Doctor, a British Psytrance artist and founder of Psychedelica from the South of England, who got into music at an early age and pursued this love at school. She played in the school Orchestra and during her Senior school days she found the Underground sounds. This fuelled a new passion for dj’ing, at the age of 17 she purchased her first set of decks, Technics 1210’s. A love affair ensued with mixing Psytrance, Psytrance fuelled a whole new ambition of one day being able to compose and write this Music as well as spinning it on the wheels. During University she met other likeminded Souls with a passion for Psytrance and she began dj’ing the Underground party scene. Regularly attending illegal Raves and playing the odd spot she knew this passion for this music was locked into her Soul. Yes there are other genres like Psychill, Drum & Bass (project: The Prophecy Killers), Ambient and Techno that she adores but Psytrance is the passion inside. After University during her 20’s she had to focus on a career in Science so Music had to take a bit of a back Seat. This never quelled the passion mind you. Life took her to France where she owned property over there and she spent 10 years there and became frustrated that her Music was drifting away from her. After a period of illness she then decided it was time to sell up and move back to England and pursue her Music once again. With some of the proceeds she invested in a state of the Art Pioneer CDJ2000NXS2 set up and studio equipment having never been able to afford these essential tools till now. The last few years have seen this artist go from strength to strength. She has residencies on numerous Psytrance Radio stations. Tribalismo Radio, Dragonfly Radio, ETN.FM, Discover Trance radio, Pur Hits, TIMB Radio, Illogic Radio and others. Since focussing hard in the studio she has had releases on Ohm Ganesh Pro Records, Ovnimoon, Atsral Vision records, Ox recordings, Power House records and Bass Star records. There is no stopping this lady as her love for the Music is now filling floors across the World.

I grew up in Zadar, revealed music very young in the mid 90's, and then begin my interest in electronic music, while at the beginning of 2000s i purchased my first dj equipment and began to investigate the various genres of electronic music, like deep, funky, tech, vocal, disco, soulful and classic house, and from producers who have influenced my choice of music there are: Christian Hornbostel, Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles, Ronn Carroll, Basement Jaxx, Armand Van Helden, Larry Levan and the entire Chicago house scene and pioneers of house music . Behind me are various residencies in clubs like: GOTHAM club (Zadar), FORUM club (Zadar), LA HABANA beach club (St. Philip and Jacob / Zadar), MAYA pub (Zadar), Zoilo bar (Zadar), SATURNUS disco (Zaton / Zadar) YACHTING bar (Zadar), and collaborated with other clubs: MARASCHINO bar (Zadar), HITCH club (Zadar), Q bar (Zadar), Arsenal (Zadar), Shambala (Zagreb), Mango (Zadar), Carpi More (Biograd), Dali Bar (Zadar), etc. I also worked as a promoter of nightlife and club music on the radio 057 (Zadar). Curently resident dj at Guma bar Zadar.

Started mixing in the late 80's,with house music like orbital,klf,8o8 state etc and the chicargo/detroit scene that was big around that time and moved right through into the beginning of Belgium techno and hardcore scene and into Jungle/ D&B from 92 onwards aswel. Would mix most styles of dance music from house to progressive, garage and big beat etc. If it had a beat and I had enough tunes for a mix id mix it. Loving the Hardcore Breaks / Nu skool Breaks scene at the moment,thats keeping the old skool scene going.I've never prepped or worked out a mix ever,just cue the first two and of i go with just the tunes laid out in front of me.This way i feel the music and vibe more and its where i get my kick,mixing the way it should be done.Will only upload a mix im sure makes the grade. I love doing mixes of megamixes too and upload them every couple of weeks or so.
