The Country Clubs newest resident. For more information and bookings please contactjakeayres@thecountryclubbers.co.uk For someone who has only just entered his twenties the Country Club's newest resident is a rising talent. Despite never actually going to the original club due to his age he can really hold his own. His impeccable track selection and strong mixing skills have already impressed the seasoned residents of The Country Club, Poole's very own Jake Ayres. Jake's parents who frequently attended The Country Club had a strong musical influence on him even before his teens. Their flyer and record collection had Jake spending much time behind his dads turntables before receiving a set of his own on his eleventh birthday. Playing many of the tracks they heard every week in particular a love of the timeless 'Dreams' by 'Miss Shiva' greatly inspired him to want to DJ. After the usual foray of house parties, free parties, the strong influence of Hard Trance from the likes of Andreas Kraemer, S.H.O.K.K and tune recommendations mostly from the Country Club residents (who lived nearby) Jake had his first club gig at the Country Club Reunion in 2013 after being a finalist in the DJ Competition. Jake impressed so much that he was made a resident, something that many a hard trance DJ worldwide could only hope to aspire to. Since then frequent bookings in and around the South Coast have followed with appearances in Plymouth as well as Bournemouth. His passion for all genres of dance music including techno and tech-house led to another residency for the very popular Terminal night at The Winchester, Bournemouth. This coupled with a regular radio shows on Safehouse Radio has led him to play alongside some of the biggest names in the scene, who also compliment him highly on his enthusiasm and vast tune knowledge as well as his mixing and selection With an ever growing fan base and a series of bookings taking him well into the new year, Jake's plans for the future see him exploring the production world, looking to create a series of tracks that he hopes to end up on some of the record labels that have inspired him over the years. Keep an eye on what's to come from him as we are certain you will like what you hear!

www.djbugg.com https://www.facebook.com/djglebbugg?ref=hl Being a regular at rave parties in the end of 90s, I bought my first Numark turntables at the age of 15. After exploring different directions of electronic music from Detroit and German techno and tech-house to psy trance, hardcore and industrial, I started mixing jungle and drum’n’bass in early 2000s. Having performed in various clubs in Eastern Europe, I moved to Berlin, Germany and then continued expanding my music horizons living in India, the Netherlands and Romania. With time, my selection has expanded to a vast collection of music styles and genres, including various forms of techno and industrial, hip-hop, jungle/drum’n’bass and breakcore, big beat and breakbeat, reggae/dancehall/dub, as well as death, black and nu-metal. I currently live in Washington DC and continue mixing various directions of electronic music, in addition to working on my own material.

Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! XJ thrives on his crowd’s reaction to his exciting musical journeys, so if you like what you hear and want to see him in action at your event get in touch.
