Metro Beatz is a South Florida based DJ/Producer/Remixer/Engineer of House/Electronic, R&B & Hip Hop Music for Music Of Class Productions and MOCRadio Network. Metro Beatz also known as 'LC' orginally from Lawrence, Ma has a long history & career in music since the mid 80s starting with his first rap group 'The Fresh Express - Stop (Before You Get Started)' which was a local hit in Greensboro, NC then scored an underground rap hit in 1990 with his group 'Mind Over Matter - Invisible Enemy' Soon after, Metro Beatz would move to Atlanta in 1990 working with several upcoming R&B & Hip artist, working at records stores, spinning at clubs in Atlanta and spinning mixtapes eventually collaborating with Chris Brann from Wamdue Kids, he caught the bug for House music, relocated to South Florida spinning on Miami's number one station Hot 105, spinning celebrity parties and released his first solo House music project on Terrence Parker's 'Parker MusicWorks Label' in 2008. Currently Metro Beatz now releases fresh new House Music on his own imprint 'Music Of Class' through Symphonic Distribution. I began mixing in 2003, using mostly vinyl before finally giving in to the digital era in 2012. I enjoy playing a variety of styles including house, techno, dubstep, drum-and-bass and various breaks. I keep busy at various public and private events around the Northwest. Through the benefit of weekly events I have logged over 2500 hours of public-performance behind the decks.
