I started up Chicago Youth Radio WCYR a nonprofit radio station @ John Spry Community School in the Little Village Chicago IL area. Also mix ar Chicago night clubs, bars, lounges and special events like the House of Sol at the Fiesta of Sol Festival and Chicago House Music Festival. I started spinning back in the early eighties, purely 12". I have been all throughout the industry from Mobile, Club, After Hours and back to Mobile.....still missing Club Play. I still keep up with the tunes and still enjoy my own mixes in my ride..... A huge thanks for everyone who took the time to check out my mixes. I think that it is awesome that I am able to reach out to so many people from around the world!! Music is meant to be shared with friends, it takes you to places and times that sometimes you cannot explain. Thank you to everyone else out there who is sharing their skills! The best comment that I have ever had yet was from someone who said that my Club Mix inspired them to get back into spinning :). My toys ;) Denon DNS 3700 This cd player is the best i've used, very easy to use... I don't really understand why all the dj's only use pioneer...With them i feel the same sensation like the vinyls, and that had no prices.... Vestax PDX-D3 The most expensives turntables in 1997...but i don't regret my choice...In 2012 they are working like the first day... But...to be honest, since i've buy my denon dns, i don't use them anymore...Maybe in the future, if i'll come one day to traktor or serato. Pioneer DJM300 My old mixer...12 years old....little, simple, efficient...and no expensive.... RPDJ 1210... One of the best heaphone (for me ;))...10 years without any problems... Very strong bass...maybe a little too much... In the future.....The project.... Traktor S4 I need to follow the dj "evolution"...That what i'll buy in the next step...

Through my piano lessions in Music school and singing at many choirs I made my first steps into the world of music and since then is my everyday companion. Year by year I was exploring different genres from classics, 70's, 80's and 90's Rock, Pop, Dance. In my 20's I instantly fall in love in electronic music genres and become totally addicted torhythm ofHouse and Trance. :) I am more or less still a newbie in role of a DJ so more of my sets/mixes/masups are yet to come and each of them will have it's story behind... :) To all my listeners and followers a big thank for all your comments and support. Pete van Payne started DJing in 1980 at the age of 11. Electronic musik was his obsession since the very first beginning of the style. in 1983 he began working with 3 turntables and was influenced mostly by the style of Carl Cox. The basic techniques of 3 decks mixing were quikly adapted and he began to develop his own style of spinning. Years of touring through the clubs in germany passed by. In January 2009 he met Alex Flemming, the founder of the sound of Techno community and finally became the second head of soundoftechno community. In February 2010 he finally foundet the record label Sound of Techno Record and began producing his own tracks. In early 2011 he foundet the new Lable Techno Emporium Records followed by the Techno Emporium Community. Another big step in developement was to become CEO of the Thunders Club House Radiostation and beginning of international cooperations with other stations. Meanwhile he is also the editor for Germany at Zone Magazine Ireland.
