I started Dj in in the middle 90’s after graduate from Specs Howard a friend of my got me into it Alisa Berry is her name to be exact. I have had a deep love for music since childhood with Mom singing and Dad playing with the saxophone she being a homemaker and pop an Air traffic Controller this meant I grew up with an eclectic background in music from Jazz, Soul, To Rock and roll My Dad’s favorite group is Cheep Trick . . lol. Not from Detroit born in Milwaukee WI. I moved around a lot because of my fathers Job, but I mostly grew up in Detroit a product of the Detroit Public School system “Redford High School to be exact “Go Huskies.” In High School and College where I became a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity house music was everywhere and I loved it. I remember after I crossed we heard my Frat brother Kevin Saunderson drop “Good Life” at an EMU party. I remember the music Institute and still have the flier from the three-day closing! House music has been a main stay in my life. I have produce podcast The Jazz Suite and Gospel Jazz Podcast for more than 6 years I’ve hosted internet radio show Treasures from grandpa’s attic and The Chris Kelly Show for SVMIX internet radio. I still do a Soul podcast called Getting-it-in Soul it has always been about the music. My business partner convinced me this year to start Djing in front of an audience again and I love it!!! I choose the name Dj J.Squared is a homage to my mother who passed away in 2004. My nickname growing up was J.J. because I’m named after my father so to pay homage to the woman who introduced me to all that I love about music so Dj J.Squared was born. I started DJing in the late 80's, went through the whole rave scene in the UK. From there in the mid 90's started a sound system (Gangster Dolphin) & put on free parties in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Norfolk. Played all over the UK, Ibiza & Kavos. Mainly do radio these days but still love to play. Grew up as a 70's child on a diet of mainly Disco, Hip Hop & House, these themes are a constant present in what I play today. These early influences had a profound affect on me & why I love Jackin House, Tech House & Disco so much to this day. My passion is to deliver the best aural experience I can to the end user, YOU! Always inquisitive, never trusting government or media since childhood, been down every rabbit hole, fully awakened, unjabbed, Convid is a lie & doesn't exist & the earth is FLAT. Debunk it? A sagely old DJ once told me- 'First rule of DJ ing is get the ladies dancing.' Wise words that have put me in good stead for many years of house partying. If the ladies dance, everything else will follow. Most of these mixes have been tried and tested and the first question I ask myself when auditioning tracks...... 'would my friend Kath dance to this ?' Mostly she did...... please listen, dance and hopefully enjoy.

I've been DJing since the early 80's playing Soul, Funk, Disco and Rare Grooves. I was a B-boy collecting and playing Hip Hop since it's birth and also Electro. I was very busy guesting at many prestigious UK Clubs and abroad from the late 80's and throughout the 90's playing various styles of House Music. An avid collector of many genres of music for over 30 years and love good productions and quality grooves. I'm currently loving the grooves coming out of the UK House scene. I think the UK are producing the best House grooves at the moment. Although, the US still have some awesome vibes, as always. My name is DJ Zoli, and music has been part of my life since childhood. For nearly 15 years, my life was deeply connected to discos and the club scene. I started my DJ career in 1993, fully dedicating myself to mixing and creating music for clubs and events. My energetic style quickly made me a familiar face, and I built a strong connection with the crowd wherever I played. Over the years, I had the chance to travel and perform on different stages, gaining not only musical experience but also personal growth. Feeling the energy of the people and turning it into music became my signature. In 2008, I decided it was time for a change and stepped away from active DJing. Even today, I don’t play at big events anymore, but my passion for music and mixing is still alive.I’m still part of the music community, and I’m proud of everything I’ve achieved.
