Tokiboun was born in France in 1988, and discovered the world of free parties in 2004 with soud systems from Franche-Comté “INCOMPLET SOUND SYSTEM”(FR) and “LE CITRON VERT”(FR). In 2006, out of passion for the music, he buys two groove boxes”Korg Electribe ESX1 & Em-1″ in order to create a Drum’n'Tribe live act with bewitching melodies. Attracted to all styles of music, in 2008, he rediscovers psychedelic trance in Switzerland at Goa’Uld united, Kucrapok and Biolive parties. In 2010 he buys 2 vynil players Numark TTX and starts Djing trance music, keeping a foot in Jungle/Electro Dub music. In 2011 he creates the Esprit du Son organization and, in 2013, puts together 4 parties and a festival with artists such as Hyper Frequencies, Psyberpunk, Xt-Ric, Mercury Fall, Uforik, Spiral hand, Tetra Hydro K, Phaz M Dub Zanet, L-xir, Beatrider, Synop6, PIC-PIC, etc. He also starts the Blair Reddish project which is an extatic dance project where he mixes chill-out and ambient music. Blair being gone, he continues the project with Véronique Gasse once a month. In 2013, he falls in love with psytrance melodies and starts mixing this style of music as part of the Leitmotiv Sound crew from Franche-Comté, and joins forces with Moonloop Records in 2014. Authentic character brimming with joie de vivre and willing to share his music, he particularly love melodic psytrance and brings you in a journey the time of a DJ set toward another universe. He travels all around the french part of Switzerland and occasionally he crosses borders as well to make crowds dance on the dancefloor! Music has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember and im confident to say its shaped who I am today. From a very young age I was very much into Syththesized music , especially Jean Michelle Jarre (one of my all time heroes). Along side this I loved early electro house and Detroit techno so naturally , was blown away with the late 80’s acid house explosion and even more so by the early 90’s Rave explosion, and this is where my passion really set in. I first went on a pair of decks at the tender age of 9 years old (1991), and around this time got 1xdeck for Christmas, now….clearly you don’t have to be a dj to understand that this is useless for mixing, but, for beatmatching, this was the best thing you could imagine! Id beatmatch vinyls to tapes,or anything that was playing in the house,and by the time I got my 2nd deck and mixer at 12years old, the learning curve of beatmatching was already mastered! Now, musically , im predominantly Hardcore, always have been, from early breakbeat hardcore right through to todays sounds. Ive loved the evolution of the sound and have the same passion for the sound as I did 20 years ago. Trance was a major influence for me in the 90’s too , especially Paul Oakenfold/Sasha/Digweed to name a few….their ability to seamlessly blend tracks together over the course of an hour or so and leave me feeling like id been on a musical journey really inspired me and applied this same technique to everything I mixed. Today, I concentrate mainly on Uk Hardcore and Hard dance, which while im “here” must mention how impressed and inspiring I find hard dance at the mo , from the techy minimal sounds right through to the tough hardstyle sounds of Europe, I feel this scene has got a lot to offer and has something for everyone. Im loving the Hard dance scene as a whole at the moment, whether it be Breakbeats/Kickdrums/trancey/ravey/techy/fast/slow…..the scene in my eyes is as diverse as its ever been, whatever others may think! Music is a way of life!

Stephen Lane aka The Dude has the Internet Radio Show "DudeMusic" which features all aspects of EDM on Dudemusic found on Most radio tuners such as TuneIn Radio and also www.dudemusic.pro. The Dude started his DJ career in the early to mid 1980's playing small venues around Amarillo, Texas USA before becoming a resident DJ at the SRO club in the same city. When The Dude started his career, his milk totes contained British Pop and Goth of the 80's (New Order, The Cure, Bauhuas, Love and Rockets, Dead or Alive, etc.) and then progressed towards Industrial (Ministry, Front242, Nitzer Ebb, etc.). More toward the 1990's the totes included Belgium post-industrial/acid house/techno (New Beat, including Jade4U, Praga Kahn, Lords of Acid). That is where the Journey into Trance began. Late 2013 The Dude started dabbling in Progressive and Electro House. Thus ELeGRessive House radio show was born and soon morphed into DudeMusic. When The Dude started DJ'ing the only medium out there was vinyl. When CD's were introduced The Dude still used his turntables and vinyl. However by this time The Dude was only a bedroom/hobby DJ. After leaving Amarillo for Austin, The Dude frequented many clubs in the Austin Area. The Dude has lived in locales such as Amarillo and Austin Texas, Denver and Grand Junction Colorado, Rochester Minnesota, and now Albuquerque New Mexico. The Dude now only uses digital media (mp3) and uses Virtual DJ on a DELL laptop with a numark mixtrack pro.
