Hi Everyone . I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. I'm fond of electronic music since 1993, inspired by the radioshow "M-bis Volna" at the radiostation "Mayak". Alias is derived from the name DANiel. In the late 90s began to try my chances on school discos. The winter of 1998 took 1st place (Grand Prix) in the first in Sarov (my hometown in Russia) "Battle of the DJs" (for schools), interviews on local TV. Global Moderator of the "Russian Dance Forum", an honorary veteran. 2003-2012 year - work (organization of parties, dj'ing) in nightclubs of the city and the region. Since February 2009 to January 2010 - the founder, inspirer and member of electronic projects Fantastic Plastique / Rusky. Release on label. 2010 - Worked as а A & R Manager in a team of the one famous DJs in Moscow. Since February 2010 - until now - Leading my own radioshow on radiostation "Europa plus Sarov '-" EUROMIX (Sarov Version) "Every Saturday from 19-00 to 20-00 on 102.7 FM"
