I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. From Vauxhall NJ where I first heard a DJ by the name of George Potter who helped me create my first mix with two turn tables at the age of 13. Then there was Mark Thompson who helped me polish up my skills on blending. Other mentors to me are Vernon Roberts, Phase III Disco aka DJ Butch, and Larry Morman. But it was when I went to my first night club New Experience and listened to Mark Thompson mix with 3 turntables and a reel to reel and said this will be me someday. Then there was the Paradise Garage, what an experience. Larry Levan is a one of kind. It was when I heard him for the first time and learned it’s not about the mix but about the music and how you control the music. I took that being said to Germany where I spent 4 ½ years in the army DJ’ing around Europe in several night clubs and raves. The way you control the music puts you in complete control of the crowed. So I would just like to say to up and coming DJ’s out there, it’s not always your mix but the song you play and how you play it. The right song played the right way will always move crowed!!

Dj Ceddy Ced has been in the entertainment business for over thirty years. Ceddy started off as a disc jockey in 1978...by 1983 he owned his own night club ..called The Beat... Which at that time ventured into concert promotions... Several eighties stars visited the club ...World Class Wrecking Crew..LA Dream Team...Bobby Jimmy and The Critters... And Timex Social Club just to name a few.. Over the years Ceddy has worked with a host of artist under the guidance of his late mentor Mr. Robert Brookins. Born in Milan (Italy) in 1975, he began playing at the age of 14; he officially debuted at the age of 18 in the club Old Fashion in Milan: during these years his experience and musical education led him to collaborate with many clubs in Milan including Atlantique, Magazzini Generali, Tocqueville, Casablanca, Hollywood. His eclectic sound retraces the house music in different deep, soulful, funk, tech, electro influences, standing out for his originality and the performance of his Dj -Set. During the following years he toured Italy working together with many clubs: Fura (Lonato Bs), Ecu, Echos (Rimini), Maneggio (Romagnano Sesia No), Post Garage (Milan Malpensa Airport),Fluid (Bergamo) Bambu (Milan), Roialto (Milan), Magazzini Generali (Milan), InnVilllà (Milan), Love (Milano), DeSade (Milan), 11Clubroom (Milan ), 4cento (Milan), Love (Milan). In cooperation with The All Music staff he took part in various events in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Rimini. Then he arrived at Exogroove Communication in Milan and that allowed him to join the staff-dj in club events at Disco Egiptus (Fidenza), Tereviri,(Cremona), Rimbalzello (Salo BS). Between 2009 and 2013 he worked with The Beach, Bambù Lounge Bar and Delano in Milan; he also took part in some dates of the tour in Milan Red Bull. He performed important experiences in Dj Setwith the artists of Bolognese SlowDeepRecords label, with which he still collaborates and performs several “One Night”between Emilia and Lombardy. He takes part in many events with Clubs: Fabrique (Milan), MagazziniGenerali (Milan), Tocqueville (Milan), CastaDiva (Blevio CO), 4cento (Milano), Love(Milano); he works for the Milan Fashion Week parties, the Milan Furniture Fair and Hotel Magna Pars Suites (Milan) events. He cooperates with several european clubs such as: Delano (Ibiza), NoSoloAgua(Vilamoura- Portugal), SubClub (Bratislava), NyX (Lugano), Privilege (Lugano), SuperParadise (Mykonos), and in 2010 he took part in the “Brasil Folia” in Salvador De Bahia collaborating with Club Margherita. From February 2015 up to now he is performing a signi cant experience in Thailand at the Phuket and Koh Samui Clubs: Heaven, Iguana Beach Bar, Surfhouse Kata Beach, Hq,Catch Beach, Sri Panwa, LINK Cuisine & Lounge. I started deejaying when I was 14 years old. I remember my brother buying Technics 101. Then after he the famous 12 hundreds. The turntable we're and still to this day one of the best turntables that the Technics have ever brought out. I started spinning vinyl at an early age. One of my first DJ competitions was a roller skating rink called, USA. I was a mobile DJ for many year and then I started getting gig's doing Holiday floats for the radio station Hot 97 FM in New York City. I think it that it was a huge success in my part. I then started deejaying in a lot of unknown Clubs. Then I started going a lot famous club back then. All I know is that the best way to listen new and upcoming music was to be surrounded in all types of Clubs. There was a club to be in everyday of the week. I met many successful D jays like, Little Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Freddy Turner etc. One day my cousin got a break in the Copacabana. His name is Jason Hernandez. We were always a Team. We spun there for a few years at world famous Copacabana (the original one). Then I worked in record co, Dig- IT International (Irma USA). Then I got married and played in a few more Clubs. Now i'm spinning in parties and I still get the crowd Jumping!
