MC/Composer/Producer/Dj/Artist I guess I will try My hand at anything, I own a Guitar yet I haven't really learnt anything past the basic chords, I have a MIDI Keyboard yet My use for it is for Riffs & Synths when Producing Tracks, I can't Play Classically so to speak!!! I am mainly a Drum & Bass Mc yet I also Write Lyrics 4 Hip Hop & I am looking to put a Mixtape out featuring various other Artists, who are mainly My Friends from either My Home Town of Derby or from Nottingham where I Studied Music Technology & Sound Engineering, some Class Mates & others People I met out Gigging at certain Venues across The Midlands, Leicester also is a place where I have made links on The Music scene, operating in The East Midlands yet still Playing Out in various other Cities up & down The Country. I have a Vinyl collection & a Set of Technics 1210's & a Numark 5000 FX Mixer so My aim is 2 put up various Drum & Bass Mixes, with or without Vocals & My Hip Hop Productions & Lyrical Content. Hello and welcome to my profile. I am a Dubstep DJ from Derby and have been into Dubstep since 2008. I can play vinyl and CD's and feel that is enough as I don't feel using software to mix, is appropriate for me. I am a resident DJ for the massive promotions team that is taking the UK by storm, its only Hype who hosted The Dubstep Music Awards last year. I have only got 2 mixes up at the minute because i'm a big believer in quality not quantity. 2 x Technics 1200 Mk2, 1 x Behringer DDM4000 Mixer and Skull Candy headphones! lots! Hi this is Dj Miss Mayhem... I spin vinyl and I mix house, electro, techno, old skool jungle and dnb. I have been mixing for around 10 years and started off in Brighton where i played at The Volks, The Concorde 2, The Ocean Rooms and many house and squat parties! From my time in Plymouth i have enjoyed playing out at Voodoo lounge, Maggies, The Hub, C103, View 2 as well as some wicked house parties!. I recently played for Dance Conspiracy at Cafe Rene in Gloucester twice which was amazing! At the moment i am teaching myself the art of Scratching with a little help from Dj Q Bert, Mix Master Mike and other tallented scratch dj's via You tube which is challenging but very enjoyable! My fiancé ASSASSiN is an awesome dnb, old skool dj. We play back to back as well as independantly. We are looking for gigs so if you can get us any sets that would be amazing!
