GroovePunk
GroovePunk

GroovePunk is a DJ based in West London and the host of 'All About House' - a weekly show live on GrooveLondon Radio every Saturday 4pm - 6pm GMT. After falling in love with House music and buying his first pair of turntables over ten years ago, GroovePunk has played a variety of venues in and around London as well as on a number of Internet radio stations. Growing up just outside London in the mid to late 90s, GroovePunk witnessed the transition from the acid house era of the late 80s/early 90s to the UK/US garage and trance-heavy early 00s. This provided a highly eclectic and open view of electronic music which can be heard through GroovePunks’ sound that often blends all sub-genres of house. As a bit of a tech junkie, GroovePunk has DJed with just about every type of DJ kit released – starting with turntables, moving to CDJs, then MP3 decks and most recently software and a variety of controllers. But it’s not about the kit, it’s about the music. GroovePunks’ shows aim to deliver the finest selection of fresh House promos and underground tracks. It’s all about House.

🔥 DJ Amanda: The Queen of Remix, The Architect of the Dancefloor Inferno 🔥 DJ Amanda isn’t just a pioneer — she’s a revolution in motion. Crowned the undisputed Queen of Remix, she’s been bending genres and blowing minds since the early days of mashup culture. Her sonic alchemy turns tracks into weapons of mass euphoria: each remix a masterstroke of rhythm, surprise, and pure dancefloor ecstasy. Her signature style? Electrifying blends that fuse hip-hop swagger, Latin heat, and house energy into unstoppable bangers. Her firebrand sound can be heard scorching the frequencies of: Las Jefa La Mera Mera — where she reigns supreme with fierce femme energy The Hex Files — a sonic spellbook of dark grooves and hypnotic blends Cue The Beat Radio — the launchpad for her most explosive club-ready creations Magic407 — where her remixes shimmer with pop magic and bassline sorcery Grupo Planet — her interstellar broadcast of rhythm, rebellion, and remix royalty Whether she’s flipping classics into club anthems or conjuring new hybrids from the depths of her vault, DJ Amanda is the pulse of the remix generation. I started Dj in in the middle 90’s after graduate from Specs Howard a friend of my got me into it Alisa Berry is her name to be exact. I have had a deep love for music since childhood with Mom singing and Dad playing with the saxophone she being a homemaker and pop an Air traffic Controller this meant I grew up with an eclectic background in music from Jazz, Soul, To Rock and roll My Dad’s favorite group is Cheep Trick . . lol. Not from Detroit born in Milwaukee WI. I moved around a lot because of my fathers Job, but I mostly grew up in Detroit a product of the Detroit Public School system “Redford High School to be exact “Go Huskies.” In High School and College where I became a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity house music was everywhere and I loved it. I remember after I crossed we heard my Frat brother Kevin Saunderson drop “Good Life” at an EMU party. I remember the music Institute and still have the flier from the three-day closing! House music has been a main stay in my life. I have produce podcast The Jazz Suite and Gospel Jazz Podcast for more than 6 years I’ve hosted internet radio show Treasures from grandpa’s attic and The Chris Kelly Show for SVMIX internet radio. I still do a Soul podcast called Getting-it-in Soul it has always been about the music. My business partner convinced me this year to start Djing in front of an audience again and I love it!!! I choose the name Dj J.Squared is a homage to my mother who passed away in 2004. My nickname growing up was J.J. because I’m named after my father so to pay homage to the woman who introduced me to all that I love about music so Dj J.Squared was born. i started djing at 16 after months of begging the parents for months to buy me some 1210s,which i still use today going strong.my passion in music has to be old school piano, retro and vocal funky house if you cant sing to it then its no good lol.in the early nineties i started going clubbing, and for me to this day was the best for music.when i first got my 1210s i had no intension of djing in clubs it was just a hobby for and for my own enjoyment.i was actually tricked by a fellow dj and good friend who was already djing in clubs, when he phoned me up one thurday night and said he was ill and needed me to help him out and play at a bar for him,to which i found out later it was actually a dj competition to which he entered me and to my surprise i won to which the prize was residency at bradfords biggest dance club which pulled 700 to 800 in every friday and saturday night,my first night djing in the club was christmas eve which was packed out and i was shitting it,it was a big difference mixing some tracks in the bedroom and then to bid audience but i absolutely loved it and was hooked, and so my djing career was born. within the first year things went from strength to strength playing in numerous clubs all over yorkshire and holding down residencys and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the country (alister whitehead,k klass, paul taylor just to name a few) i was more known as a dj for my old school sets and so i was made a resident for retro which took me to ibiza djing at eden and loved every minute. in the mid 2000s i began working with a fellow dj (adam g) at a place called bar me which was just a bar not a club, but in the first 6 months playing there the profits soared 700% and went from a free bar and having to pay in on the door,so we sat down and thought were on to a winner here and decided to brand our own night and event, and so worship was born. our brand of night went from strength to strength holding down rooms at space, gatecrasher, visage and ethios, garlands and many more,we even ended up with our own radio show on a friday night on dvm radio (dance vinyll masters). i think the reason our night worked so well was because we didnt brand it as one style of music it was straight across the board,if it was a classic then it got played. in 2008 we decided to pull the brand as we both wanted to persue over interests,i decided to take a break from djing as it got to a stage where i stopped enjoying it and felt more of a chore going to work instead of doing something i loved. so now im back, loving my music more then ever and back on the scene :-)

DJ-TroubleDee
DJ-TroubleDee

DJ TroubleDee ...Professionell Allround oldschool Mixing DJ My career as a DJ began when I had to step in as a substitute DJ in one of the hippest discos in the region in 1989, as the resident DJs had both canceled due to illness. For the first time I had to play in such a large location and so many people music and prove if I really have DJ talent and I might consider myself in this club a second time as a DJ and angeagiert, or if I will never be booked there as a DJ again. Of course, I took this opportunity as "My Chance" and gave it my best that evening and was able to actually convince the happy dancing party people and the management of the discotheque of my DJ talent. Although during my DJ gig in the mainroom of the discotheque * GOLDEN GATE * during the first 2 hours of excitement I had such shaky hands as never before in my life, that even the managing director was so amused that he grinned personally to me came to the DJ pulpit to bring me alcoholic drinks (Vodka Lemon), with the saying; "Here .. drink that calms your nerves and helps against stage fright" ...LOL So I got in the discotheque Golden-Gate so the solid commitment from there to be the 3rd Resident DJ. More and more frequently, as a DJ, I got the opportunity to make music for a whole party-night and to have the party guests dance to my whistle. In the meantime, I looked at a lot of the older experienced DJs asked a lot, practiced and improved is my MUSIC mixing with the turntables and thus learned more and more. In 1992, I hired as a DJ in the just opened discotheque WayUp. At first there was only one of the flexible replacement DJs since there were already 5 DJs in front of me. Anyway, the management of the discotheque WayUp seemed to have discovered in me great potential in terms of my talent as a DJ. Because more and more often I should now make music on the main days ... etc in short: .. within a 1/2 year I made it from the only 6th violin to the 1st violin of WayUp DJ herachie. Now as the resident DJ number 1 of this club, I now also had the biggest and full responsibility for this one. From now on, I will indicate with which music genres the club will have its success in the future. I can now formally impress the club with "my" DJ stamp by always having the right richer for the right genre and anticipating always the right MUSIC SELECTION in music shopping, which is absolutely crucial for the successful or unsuccessful future career of the discotheque is! This is the greatest trust and responsibility that a discotheque management entrusts to its No.1 resident DJ. Because as everyone knows .. runs in a discotheque constantly only bad music that does not appeal to the guests, then these guests go to another discotheque to dance and party. In addition, something like that speaks very quickly so that fewer and fewer guests come. And fewer and fewer guests means at the same time .... less and less revenue and revenue! No revenue ... means no money to pay for the staff! No revenue ... means: No money to make the necessary purchases. ERGO ... Wrong DJ selection made, as the DJ did not understand week after week to hold guests or by good mouth propaganda new guests in the club location to lure. The discotheque slip thereby unsustainable pay more and more in the red .. and must, ERGO: At some point give up and finally closing and declare bankruptcy. END of the disco So, the Nr1ResidentDJ bears full responsibility for the future of the club: WITH THE MUSIC OF THE DJ, STANDS OR FALLS A CLUB! Today, every resident DJ should be aware of this and not sell himself below value. Because today a lot of club DJs are exploited by the club owners with an outrageous tipping or free drinks as DJ-fee! Today's club operators take advantage of today's DJs absolutely and without shots, by hiring DJs who are making music all night long for 50-150 € just because those DJs are totally unaware of their responsibilities. more than 5 years i was the 1Resident DJ from Disco WayUp. also i was Resident DJ and booking event DJ in much more Clubs : *Octagon *Atlantis *TarmCenterWest *GoldenGate *Amnesia *Pacha *Indigo *Butan *Galaxy ..and other.... in the next year "2019" i have 30 years DJ Experience.
