I Enjoy all types of music. Enjoyed the rave and club scene from 1991 - 1998 Oscars at Clacton-On-Sea Essex was my Haunt back then with some top DJs who I still listen to now and again, DJ Kenny Ken, DJ Rap, Ratty, Jumping Jack Frost, Andy C,Grooverider, DJ SS, Brockie the list goes on. Djs I listen to on hear, Soulful House - DJ Roger Miller and DJ Adrian-Van-Aalst . Mash-ups - Captun B. Jackin House - Dj Simoy & Cheeky D I got into Festivals 1999 - 2008 as I got a bit older :). I was lucky enough to see a lot of great bands Oasis ,Coldplay,The Verve, Phonics etc. My love is still Ska which I still listen to regular, If I hear a track now and like it I will buy it. I have about 100-150 Hours worth of Ska tracks so thats why I have started doing a few mixes for others like me who enjoy a bit of ska. I dont really have a favourite Era I enjoy it all, I suppose the late 70s-80s with UK bands such as Madness, Specials, Selector, The Hotknives getting me into it but there is some good ska coming from all over world.

Welcome to my page, hope you will enjoy it! Chris Mageras aka DJ Alex was born on 10/16/1966 in Athens. His first steps in music dj like I did at the age of 17. It was the golden age of disco music. Buying 2 Technics turntables He took mixing techniques. It was difficult at first because there was no suitably technical infrastructure that exists today. There was also the vinyl they purchase many MAXI singles. Began working in various cafes and derive experience. As the years passed I listened, I began to grow. Basically the music always choices were mainstream music. Now the music choices are Tech House .. Latin House ... Tribal House ... Deep House ... and generally it has to do with House Music. My influences are extremely diversified. They range from old school Rock & Roll from the 70’s my parents use to listen at home, such as Elvis Presley, The Doors, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and many more, to stuff like Giorgio Moroder, David Bowie, The B52’s, The Cars and most of the artist of the crazy Disco years. As a matter of fact, these last names that I have mentionned were among the first records that I’ve personally purchased to start experimenting behind my first decks and mixer playing for small parties here and there. Starting in the late 80’s until the 90’s my musical preferences evolved towards some very different and diversified styles, ranging from industrial & rock to straight-ahead electronic music like Ministry, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Cat Rapes Dog, Cabaret Voltaire, Die Krupps, Die Warzau, Mussolini Headkick, Bigod 20, Kraftwerk, Front Line Assembly, Cassandra Complex, Art of Noise, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Body Count, Green Jelly, Red Hot Chili Peppers, White Zombie, The Tea Party and even artists like Dread Zeppelin, Marilyn Manson, Ann Clark & Moby. In the last couple of years, I've listened mainly to underground and house music. Therefore my latest influences mainly come from my good friend Corvin Dalek & all the Wet and Hard Crew from Berlin, Oliver Klein, Marco Bellini, the excellent Saeed Younan, Pig & Dan, Dirty Funker, Midnight Society, Dave The Drummer, RPO, DR. Kucho, Timo Maas, Melleefresh & Deadmau5, and of course Indica , my mentor and partner. He is indeed my greatest influence and inspiration.
