WOW! is all a few club goers could say on the way to the parking lot as they just finished leaving a local night spot DJ A6 was performing at. I say performing because he is not your traditional mixing and blending style DJ. He draws you in to the music and delivers his energy with every record that he plays. He interacts with the animated crowd having them sing back classic lines as they anticipate the next song.DJ A6 was born in Washington Heights, NY in the 80's under traditional Latin musical influences such as salsa, merengue, and Cumbia. In the early 90's he was introduced to hip hop and all of its elements. A6 started to learn the art of DJ'ing by carrying crates in to the hottest clubs in New York for DJ Big Jeff. Getting into clubs he was too young to get in too, he saw first hand how music selection and timing could make or break a party.In 2000 A6 moved to Miami, Fl and started to work on the production end of the musical spectrum. Linking up with local up and coming artists and production companies he began to build relationships and stamp his name on the scene. He strayed back to the DJ'ing portion of the industry and has been slowly but surely making the DJ A6 name attached to words like professional, quality, and reliable. I love happy cheesy pop music but I will give anything a try if I like it!!! I love to sing and dance to the music I mix, its a great way to unwind. Started Djing in 1992/93 on a second hand set of ElektraVision belt driven decks!!. After much stumbling and determination i mastered the art and have developed my own unique style playing , old skool ,old skool house , trance , hardcore and italian !
