I am a true Old School Style DJ... Started DJing while attending South Gate High back in 1985. Back when KDAY was an AM radio station, and had TonyG as one of the their DJs. In fact it was after seeing TonyG DJing at La Casa Camino Real (off of Washington and Oak in Downtown LA) that I began to start DJing myself. Over the years I have mixed at several of the known clubs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, El Monte, Huntington Park, Long Beach, and several other cities within LA / Orange counties. Than for about 15 years I worked as a Freelance Lighting Audio, Video tech, and DJ as well, providing my DJing services in in the Special Events industry. Most of which were weddings, private parties, and corporate events. I mix both English and Spanish music with a music library of over 80,000 songs covering most genres of music from the most current hits of today and going back as far as the 50's & 60's. I recently moved to Reno, Nevada to be close to my parents who are getting up there in age, so I could spend quality time with them in their remaining years.

DJDeMarco, being 30 years in DJ-business, influenced by Front242, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk & ACID House Music in the 80ies - DJDeMarco discovered his love to electronic dance music in the early 90ies (Space Club, Warehouse Club Cologne & MAYDAY, Love Parade Berlin). On purpose to share this love with others, he started spinning the decks in 1992, what stayed body & soul for him up today. Remember when DJ sets were musical journeys? Before it was... "how many top 10 remixes, samples, and shit can I fit into a 55 minute festival set demo mix"?? That's back when I got into DJing, and that's how I still do it. Often 1-2+ hours, made as a complete package. Not much glitz and glam. No defined genre bounds. The way it used to be. Heavy bass. Deep kicks. Infectious rhythms. Timeless melodies. Sprinkle in some vocals. Put on high volume. Rinse and repeat. Coming to you from the neon glow of Las Vegas, I am just a Midwestern 90's rave kid who happened to keep a shitload of vinyls after being forced out into the real world. I took so much time finding these records through good old fashioned vinyl mining. Would be a shame if every last one wasn't heard. So here they are...

DSM got his start behind the decks, being self-taught on SL-1200s back in 2001. After working his way up through the scene, he became a mainstay in the Colorado scene - from small, underground warehouse parties to larger festivals, his name became synonymous with being the master of a variety of genres. Eventually also working his way into clubs like The Church, Beta, Vinyl and what is now known as Bar Standard, his diversity in track selection moved crowds of all types. Having semi-retired from 2015-2020 due to some personal tragedy and changed life goals, DSM re-emerged in 2020, getting back onto the decks - creating new, masterful mixes to deliver music he loves back to the scene he loves.
