What i can afford!! Just a basic Behringer mixer and Pioneer CMX-3000 CD decks. My name is Dj Will a Dj born and bred in Derby (UK). ; I work alongside another great Dj called DP. We both work under the name of Feel The Vibe which is a monthly soul night in Derby(FIRST SAT OF EVERY MONTH@ SLUG LETTUCE) and Birmingham (LAST SAT OF EVERY MONTH @ SLUG LETTUCE, BROAD ST) that we run. I have been Djing for about 5 years but have been in to loads of different music from a very young age. We currently do a weekly radio show on SOULRADIOUK.COM every WEDS 20:00 till 22:00, going out to the whole world and listened to in 70 different countries. Dp is an experienced dj who has dj'd all across the uk but mostly the midlands. He has been part of projects spanning the last 20 years, most notably Soul Syndicate, Space Bass and Funk for the Future, all big nights in Derby. Both of us consider music as a massive part of our lives and thats why you will find us spinning our vibes all across the uk. House is this strange cooking of different flavours, able to make Loleatta Holloway sing on strings loop from Tchaïkovski's Concerto N°1, backed by the "Let no man put asunder" bassline from First Choice and the "Let's all chant" disco beat from Michael Zager Band. And it works. Bon appétit ! Back to 88, when I've discovered House music, with the first british House tracks (Beatmasters, S-Express...) made with sampling technique, followed by the brillant 90's Garage productions by the late Godfather Frankie Knuckles. A golden era. All those pionneers have built my inspiration. That's the reason why my tracks mix Garage harmonies with sampling collage coming from my collection of oldies and classic records (disco, funk, soul, classical music, etc.)

Yes my friends, i am basically a slave to the house rhythm and a DJ for life. Started way back in the very early 90's and have never lost my love of music. Progressed from jumping around like a lunatic in a tent on a regular basis to being a club DJ once the scene had moved into the nightclubs and away from big tent events such as Raindance, Energy, Cryptonite.....if you're old enough to remember lol
