1210's were the start, CDJ's took over, now a controller! The Pioneer DDJ-RB is an awesome piece of kit, say no more. So I recently found a folder of mixes from many a moon ago that I'll be uploading. Expect some atrocious mixing but banging tunes!

BARCODE-the-DJ
BARCODE-the-DJ

I have progressed to using CDJ's & my current setup is 2x Pioneer CDJ 800's and a Numark 5000FX Mixer + 2x Numark TT200's BARCODE-the-DJ is THE FIRE that sets the party ALIVE!  Unrivalled in showmanship and energy this firecracker of an artist is not JUST a DJ, but THE MAIN EVENT all by himself. The PASSION behind the decks is felt by everyone in the club as this unconventional genre-bender keeps the crowd on their toes and whipped into a frenzy with his unique combination of hard dance. This DJ doesn’t rely on playing lazy uninspired commercial crowd pleasers to fill the dance floor. The challenge of finding those rare gems which hide under the radar of most generic cardboard cut out DJs with which to unleash on the masses is one of his biggest pleasures. One of his proudest moments was gaining his residency at one of the Midlands biggest monthly hard dance events D:Fused. He really came into his own blowing crowds away with his frenetic performances and mad cap costumes which are renowned!Don’t be fooled into thinking that BARCODE-the-DJ is style of substance, as he has been rocking dance floors since 2006 and has performed alongside some of the biggest names in the industry like the Organ Donors/Andy Farley/Andy Whitby and Jimmy Dean.Currently BARCODE-the-DJ is making waves in the London Hard Dance scene so be on the lookout for the Barcode when he erupts into a club near you!As of 2013 a new weekly radioshow called FUCKED THURSDAYS hosted by BARCODE-the-DJ and partner in crime SIMBA  playing the best hard dance and featuring guestmixes from passionate rising stars and established talent hits the airwaves from 9PM-2FUCKED2MIX on www.freemixdownloads.comIf you want an artist who is going to make YOUR event stand out from the crowd then please contact him at:  barcodethedj@gmail.com  www.facebook.com/barcodethedj  http://twitter.com/#!/barcodethedjReview of my most recent set @ Glowball London 2012"A real character loves to bounce with the crowd and when i say bounce i mean drop the tune, jump down off the decks and proceed to have it hard on the dance floor.Mixing wicked well done and an Absolute NUTTER!! To top it all off he puts the national anthem on right at the end saluting to the crowd. Funny as mate!!! "You can sample the sound of the BARCODE @  BARCODE-the-DJ https://soundcloud.com/barcode-the-djhttp://www.house-mixes.com/profile/BARCODE-the-DJ  http://waxdj.com/djs/3486/ Hard Dance - Dark By Design - God / LAB4 - Stomping crazy Bitches / Anne Savage / Lisa Pin Up / Paul Glazby / Barry Diston / Mark EG / K90 / Organ Donors / Cosmic Gate / Scot Project / Cally & Juice / Pavo / Lady Dana / Luna / Proteus / The *Ting* / Sarah G / ||BarCodE|| / Saintee / BenMak / Lackers / DJ_Lee_Allen / Mark Frith / Miss B

2x Pioneer CDJ 800 Mk2, 2x Technics 1210 Mk2, 1x Pioneer DJM 700, Sennheiser HD25 Mk2. I have joined this website as I have a keen interest in Hard Dance music and as a result have got into mixing as a hobby, I will be uploading various mixes in various styles onto the site.I first started to get into rave music with the north east scene and generally the Makina (Spanish Techno) sound, this was the main style of music I mixed and listened to for the first few years. Hard House is also a style I've always liked from when I got into rave music but have never really had one favourite artist, anything I like the sound of I go for.I then got into UK Hardcore in a big way when then likes of Recon, Squad-E and Gammer came about and generally bought tunes around the start of that era, from labels such as Next Generation, Blatant Beats and Raverbaby, although I've always been a fan of Quosh. As for more recently I have tended to buy UK Hardcore from new artists, if at all. After UK Hardcore I got into the Hard Bounce style a little, but got bored quite quickly. After a year stopped buying tracks. The next genre I found I enjoyed was new Hardstyle from such artists as Activator, D-Block And S-Te-Fan and Showtek, although I've found the genre has now become quite stale.Until recently I bought mostly Hard Dance in its various forms but still have a soft spot for the New Makina sound. I would say i'm 99.9% digital these days. With regards to Makina I've been getting into it quite a lot again and have bought a decent amount from Japan, who now seem to be the guys who make the best stuff. I've also started to buy some vinyl again, this being classic German Trance and Makina.Thats it for now...P.S - All my uploads/mixes have full track lists within the stream/download screen, any extra information required please don't hesitate to email/pm me.ContactsFacebook - Anthony McNishE-Mail - mcnish1985@gmail.com These are some of the DJs/Producers and Labels I'm frequenting atm (who I can remember). DJs & Producers - Technikal, Unit 13, Audox, Rock Shocker, Emilio. Labels - Technikal Recordings, Pandemic Digital, Presence Digital, Fired Up Records, Toolbox Recordings.
